I do this too. My favorite song is 'This is Gonna Hurt.' If it doesn't I'm not running hard enough.

That I like being outdoors with my wife (who is also my motivation).

Much better in my opinion. I'm at 17 and it seems ok in the first weeks, but I know it's going to get crazy when mid-terms and finals start coming around. However, I've also been out of school for 6 years prior to this.

You're all reported, now get off my lawn. :-)

I too started running not long ago, some of the most helpful advice I was given: Shoes, stretching (before and especially after), ice (after), and most importantly, work on proper form while running. There are a lot of videos online to show you how. It'll get easier, just take it easy and rest your legs a lot. Slow easy…

I try to, but dang it sucks to pull out the phone EVERY time something goes in my mouth. :-)

Going on 6 years, we met in 5th grade, and started dating in college. She is amazing and tolerates me, that says enough right there.

Oh man am I going to laugh when the fate of humanity comes down to having 9-5+5x0+3 rounds of ammunition per 7 zombies.

I, too, have a bad knee from a chainsaw accident when I was younger. I've worked a long time to get comfortable running. Shoes, proper form, stretching, ice baths (after running) and it still isn't 'comfortable' to run. I've often wondered about cycling though, it burns a lot of calories, you can ride most places you can…

Soda.. Coke/Pepsi specifically. Diet isn't the same either.

http://jog.fm/ is also a really cool site to find workout music. It is directed at paces for running, but still a good discovery site for any workout.

We just moved from Denver to Oregon and miss it a lot. Sent you a request.

Depends on what type of music you like, a few of my favorites: Nickelback - Burn it to the Ground Saliva - Survival of the Sickest Sixx:A.M. - This is Gonna Hurt

So do I, it isn't much, but usually 10% difference at most. Either way the goal is the same, so I may as well benefit myself by taking less calories burned.
