I find pod casts are a good bet, the right ones tend to be engaging and make the time go by. Plus there are as many out there as there are topics which you might be interested in. And lots are free!

I often say I worship at the altar of peanut butter :tongue: I feel like if I had no self control I could easily sit in front of the tv with a spoon and polish off most of a jar. (Especially Jif!)

I drink it daily. I drink it because I enjoy it, but also because numerous studies show health benefits (including weight loss) associated with it. I can't say I have noticed it doing anything, but I figure its like taking a vitamin, the good it does may not necessarily be observed, but its still there :-)

I'm constantly playing with rubberbands. I have them everywhere and when I do laundry I always find a few in the machine afterwards that came from my pockets.

I like to mix cinnamon into it. Or it goes pretty unnoticed if you blend it into yogurt. If you like hummus, mix it into some of that and eat with veggies. Yum!

I don't know that I qualify as low carb (I generally try to get around 120 g a day, sometimes I go a little over, sometimes I'm a little under) but I for the most part don't eat grains, potatoes, or anything too starchy. I say do both, however, don't make the mistake of doing a whole bunch of cardio and then moving on to weights. Warm up for 5 - 10 minutes with cardio, then hit the weights. After doing your weight workout then do your 20 - 30 minutes of cardio. You'll burn more fat this way while saving fuel for building muscle.

One thing you might try as well is a scale that measures weight as well as body fat percentage. They aren't 100% accurate but can give you an idea of trends. If your weight stays the same, but your bf % goes down that is a good indicator that you've lost fat and put on a little muscle. Good luck!

I've done cheat days pretty regularly and lost, I like that it keeps me disciplined during the week knowing I can have all the stuff I am craving on Saturday. That said, lately my losing has slowed down quite a bit so I think I'm going to adjust and make cheat day maybe just a cheat meal, and rather than once a week do it…
