Hi everyone. I'm 33 years old and have been trying to lose weight for a few years now. I participated in the last challenge and found it kept me accountable and forced me to be active when I might not have been. My goal for May is full-body weights 3 times a week, cardio the other 3 days and Sunday rest. I'd like to lose…

'Recognise your own worth!' Think I read it on here, so true.

didn't see this challenge to now but i worked out with a friend yesterday anyway!
-
I joined this challenge so I would have something to hold me accountable.

I contacted a family member that i know is unhappy about her weight. I offered access to an online gym i have and the offer was happily accepted:)

Hi. Is it too late to join your challenge? I have the dvd and have used it before but am not consistent. Joining a challenge might be just the motivation I need.

I've never seen a scoop before. What was it for, protein shake powder? That would be irritating otherwise google is my friend:smile: In case you haven't realised (your diary is private), the food diary is filled with Norwegian foods with metric measurements. Just search for the brand name, like Tine instead of milk.

I did my first day today! Queta if you're still interested friend me and we can update each other privately:smile:

No, and won't either. I grew up eating wild mangoes all summer long in Africa and was obese to overweight most of my childhood. Maybe they weren't the right type?

How do you edit posts? Anyway, here are my measurements: Upper arms (each) -31 cm Waist-100 cm Hips-113cm Mid-thigh-124 cm I wanted to take my bust too, but am I supposed to be measuring round where my nipples are or where they are supposed to be?

I bought mine cheap on ebay. He delivered really fast too and I don't live in the US.

You're such an inspiration! WTG!

You look great!

You look amazing!

I love both! I only tried pilates once I got fat but yoga I've practiced on and off for some years. The only negative with yoga is my stomach gets in the way for many poses but I see that as extra motivation for weightloss.

I'm also interested in reading solid facts Mel because this is my experience also. I don't feel hungry when I get up so eat breakfast around 9 at my desk but when I did force myself to eat it I ended up eating more during the day.

Wow! You look great. Congratulations!

Congratulations on reaching your goal! I am just starting out so I don't have any tips on maintenance. Your were a knock-out before and are a knock-out now:smile:

Congratulations! You look great:) I like the way you have detailed mini-goals. That's a great idea.

Artemis, I logged on from work to ask the exact same question! I see some are adding more cardio, but what about more weights? I want to lift 3 times a week in order to get stronger, can I lift and do the 30DS? I plan on resting between lifting days but you also use weights (light though they are) doing 30DS and I thought…

If you are interested on yoga, try yogatic.com. I really enjoy her videos.

I guess diet pills aren't that popular here! I use a brand called Relislim. I don't know if it can be found in the UK, I bought mine in South Africa. My sister recommended them to me after massive (30-40 kg) weightloss which she has kept off for 2 years now. She stopped taking them after goal weight. They are really an…

I used Champix this time (they call it that here too). I have previously quit using group theraphy and even though I started smoking again after 2 years, this was definitely a personal choice (yes I was crazy!). The group theraphy was the best, our group leader was a psychologist using us as guinea pigs for his doctrate.…

Non-mom here. I'd also like to be part of the blog or group once it gets started.
