I lurk in here a lot and have read many of your posts. You seem like a great guy and i agree with AnnaPixie:wink:

As did she? She was obviously looking for a man to take care of her, and although that is not how I roll, I have nothing against women who search for this in their relationships. You are to be commended for not future faking her so she could find a man that enjoys spending his cash on her. IMHO you both came out…

I am scared my flabby thighs will never be taut again:sad: There are a lot of good tips here but I have trouble following them diligently. Anyone up for a 'check-in' thread where we can first reveal our excess skin battle plan, then check-in letting each other know how it's going?

That is just not physically possible. Question to you ladies eating higher calories: do you mean net or gross intake?

Congratulations with the weight loss so far OP:flowerforyou: .

Mustang Susie, are you aware that the person you're chatting with is the author of this comment? here http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1032054-from-pear-to-hourglass-with-heavy-lifting-for-women?page=2 So unless helping people is trying to suck the joy out of a Success Stories thread and turn it into an attention…

So, are we going to get real examples of said creepy behaviour? For the record, Runner has never been creepy towards me.

You look fab! Now start believing it yourself:flowerforyou:

It's been 5 months for me so I feel your pain:flowerforyou: No advice as I'm going to start on-line dating too, when I get back from my vacation. Personally I want to sow a few wild seeds around before meeting Mr Right:blushing: I should have started before though, so congrats on getting yourself out there.

I'm confused. I don't want to lose my butt (which unfortunately is shrinking) and have been doing squats, dead-lifts, spinning. How can this work for someone who wants to lose the butt and someone who wants to retain/enlarge?
-
Thanks for the link. I continue to lose weight at a steady state and am still overweight (but no longer obese!) so this probably doesn't apply to me yet. But it will be good to have this in mind later when I am closer to goal weight.

Thanks:). I guess I'll just have to wait it out.

Exercise is my medicine:)

I work out alone:( But I did stay under goal:)

Thank you Don for running this challenge! See you in September:)

Not eating mine has been working for me. I only eat the exercise calories if I am hungry. Even though I weigh my food, I figure I make errors here and there, so my calorie consumption is underestimated in any case. But, I am doing more weight training than cardio at the moment so I don't have that many extra to eat. Listen…

I dd my callanetics dvd instead. Hope that counts:)

It doesn't really matter in my opinion. Even nice guys can break your heart. Guess it depends what kind of a ride you want up to that point.

33 year old here. I did not lose any weight until I started consistently logging. I found out I was eating too much, even though it was healthy. Like the previous posters have said, weigh and log everything. Good luck:flowerforyou:

I would not say a word. Could it be that you are not used to her looking this slender? I might be projecting, but I am getting those 'Don't lose anymore weight' comments when my BMI is still in the overweight range and although I know it comes from a place of love, it's really about them and how they think I should look.…

I am in this challenge for accountability. And to learn how to be a better MFP friend.

I'm a work in progress, but here's what I've been doing: Set my goals to 2lbs a week as I have a lot to lose. Eat pretty much the same thing every day as it's easier for me that way. I eat what I want and when i want as long as it meets my calorie goal. Log what I eat as accurately and honestly as possible. Don't eat all…

And the video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pketb6gxR3w I'm not religious either but he preached!

OP, it was like that for me too when my heart was broken just over the new year. i ate a lot of junk for a couple of weeks. Then the grief really set in and i couldn't eat. I always thought that i comfort ate but I obviously had never felt grief like that before. The up side is I've lost a lot of weight since then and am…
