That used to happen to me a lot, and it would be almost unbearable. It's improved considerably - I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I stopped using body lotion and started using baby oil to moisturize my skin instead.

This happened to my first batch (blech, it was gross), but after it sat in the fridge for a few hours it was fine - no more chickpea taste or smell. Now I always rinse the chick peas in hot water before adding. Just made a batch of the sugar-free this morning and it's soooo yummy!

1. Buying a new wardrobe because I could pull off my pre-pregnancy jeans without unbuttoning them. 2. I can do a ton of regular push-ups now, where before I could hardly do modified push-ups. 3. I now have a flat tummy. 4. Improved self-confidence. 5. Beating my old bodyrock times!

I eat a large breakfast around 8am and I'm usually hungry by 11am, so I eat my lunch then. The kids are hungry by then too, even if they have a snack in between meals, so moving the lunch hour up to 11 works for us.
