Hypothyroidism is UNDER active thyroid, usually causes people to gain weight. That is why you are on synthroid, to replace the hormone level. You both have the same thing. (I'm a nurse...)

Completely doable. Make sure your diet is healthy too and that you are eating enough.

You can do whatever you want! I have a 3 year old son that I take care of from 8:30am until I go to work at 3:30pm-12am several times a week, then I'm usually up til 1:30 or 2am. So my day is long and I definitely need a snack when I get home at 12:30. I count from wake up to sleep as a day.

I started at 186lb on 3/27, now I'm down to 158lb with a lot of hard work! Still want to lose 18 more. I did have a very annoying stand still for almost 3 weeks where I only lost 1lb. But now the scale is heading downwards again!

Yes! In fact I had a breast reduction last summer going from a 38E/F to a full C. Then I gained about 20 lbs in 8 months. I am now down almost 28lbs (with 18 more to go!) and even though I have lost at least 1 band size and a my bra cups are baggy, I still wish that I had told my surgeon to make them a "perky B"! Jillian's videos really help with the loss of inches. So the 25 lbs you lost is only telling half of the story. I have lost the same amount of weight along with (at last count 3 weeks ago) a combined total of 15 inches on the 30d shred. She is an *kitten* kicker but gets results!

Check out skinnytaste.com for some amazing recipes. She has a couple of thai curry dishes that are wonderful. Can you get "light coconut milk" in England? That would help a lot with your base. Then I just add tons of veggies to her basic recipe.

First off good for you! I started 30day shred on April 2 and I am on day 8 of Level 2. Obviously I don't do it every day because either I am doing some other cardio at the gym, or I need a rest day.
