I have a small stock of them in the freezer. I keep them if I need something to take to work for lunch (I work in an office). I try to have leftovers from dinner or something else in the house for lunch but sometimes it doesn't always work out so I have some of them on hand just in case. They're great in a pinch because at…

I got mine done when I was 30 or 31 (34 now). If you want it - go for it. I had wanted another piercing for awhile but hadn't found a place I trusted to do it. My husband was checking out places to get a tattoo done and I happened to find a place I was comfortable with getting piercings done. So while he was sitting for a…

Monday - Thursday I usually aim for ~250 calories less than my goal (goal: 1600). This is so on Friday and Saturday when I know we're going out to eat and there's a good chance I'll be over it will average out at the end of week. Sunday I play by ear depending on how the week worked out. I've lost 77lbs and have been doing…

Congrats! I started lifting about 4 weeks ago. Scale hasn't moved in either direction since I started but I'm seeing a difference in my arms already and the belt is getting pulled a little tighter so I'll take it.

Cardio at home usually, sometimes at the gym, weights at the gym (only because I have access to a gym for free).

Let's see..some things I'll do for breakfast at the office.. hardboiled eggs, granola bars, crackers, pretzels, baby carrots (or other veggies) w/ hummus, greek yogurt, oatmeal packet, Jimmy Dean Delights (I rotate through a couple of different items), mozzarella string cheese, cucumbers soaked overnight in a vinegar…

Very similar situation myself (minus the kids part). 34, 5'7". I was 245-ish when I started March 2012. I'm down 74lbs so far and am aiming to get to 150lbs. When I get close to that I'll re-evaluate my goal and see if I want to lose more, lose less, or if that is good. You'll definitely find lots of support and help here.

Walking/jogging/running/treadmill stationary bike of some sort (recumbent or upright being better than spinner I'd imagine) are you in any building with stairs? or have access to a place with stairs? do a couple of trips up and down them.

It's actually more than 10%. If you got that number from a recent article which has been circulating in a bunch of british publications that number is false. With the 10% number then almost no horse could be ridden by adults and most men wouldn't even qualify on a drafter. It comes does build of the horse, skill of the…

He could be that weight and be in the military. I've seen it with the National Guard units. They won't pass weight but they'll pass the tape test and so they're good to go. And yes - they will did deploy to Iraq like that and are deployed to Afghanistan like that. Regular military I'd question that height/weight but not if…

Eat it, split it up among your coworkers. Donate it to a local food pantry/shelter place that makes meals/church that makes meals for people. I'm sure they could use it in a desert.

Have you tried the scale in other spots around your new place? Are they all reading the same?

The theaters in your area sell pickles?? I wish they did around here. I love some good crunky dills. Someone else mentions about it being a salt craving...for me it's not a salt craving..it's a vinegar craving.

I still eat out quite regularly (try to keep it to twice a week but some weeks life says otherwise). I've lost 49lbs so far since March. I had a burger on Tuesday night. I got what they called the junior size - 1 patty instead of 2 on their normal burger. No bacon. Small side of fries and only ate a portion of them. Next…

Add 1 in MD to that as well (car hydroplaned in Montgomery County earlier today according to the news reports)

Looks similar (would have to check ingredient amounts) to a recipe I have for pineapple chicken that I do on the grill. It was an adaptation of a BBQ pineapple chicken the local Chinese place growing up had. I definitely will be trying this.

*Waves hi to a fellow ACC guard member* Color guard in high school. Flute in concert band, also sang in the chorus. When I went to college (University of Maryland) I dropped flute and just did guard with the marching band. Still have the flute in the closet and occasionally bring it out. Wish I had joined TBS but my first…

When some routine bloodwork from my doctor came back and showed I was pre-diabetic along with high cholesterol and blood pressure. I have in-laws who are diabetic and I refuse to go down that road. With the changes I've made so far my last 2 lab results showed normal glucose levels along with my cholesterol coming down.…

The Fiber Plus bars taste good but at least for me they are soooo much worse than the Fiber One bars. The Fiber One bars I can handle without a problem (and to me taste ok). While the Fiber Plus bars taste better within an hour or two I'm cramping, bad gas, and heading to the ladies room.

So if you have company or something watch your portions then. Every Friday night is when my husband and I go out for dinner and it is usually to the local Japanese Steak House. I still eat the same dinner as before but I'm eating less and bringing home more (either for another meal the next day or for the dogs). Could I be…

Baja Fresh is terrible. Someone mentioned Chiptole but Chiptole isn't bad if you pick carefully, no where near as bad as Baja Fresh. Chicken Quesadilla 1300 calories. I can make the same thing at home for half that.
