I'm sorry that you must deal w/ fibro. I was diagnosed in early 1990's. Stress is a very high factor in fibro, so to keep it in remission I have to exercise, sleep well and eat well. I've never taken meds for it except aleve. I go to bed early and sleep as much as I can, eat well most days and walk even a little bit. I…

We actually fired up the pellet stove last night for a few hours. On the Washington coast.

When you say go over your goal, consider how much over you are. It takes time to make new changes, so don't be too hard on yourself. I always have to have a snack/dessert and sometimes it takes me over my cals, sometimes not. Can you plan your daily meals ahead so you can plan a snack or two? If there is a trigger food…

I'm sorry you are going through this, especially just before your wedding. In my life, I gain weight when I'm unhappy, and it feels like my life is out of control. MFP has been the best thing I've done. I've found inspiration, accountability, and new friends. When I get off-track I get right back on bc of MFP. When you…

I'm with you and it's nice to know I'm not alone. I think one of the reasons is bc I've only got 7/8 lb to lose. My total goal was to lose 20 lbs. The first 11-13 came off fast but for the last 6 weeks-nothing!
-
YES the night before! Then I can play w/ the numbers and make sure I don't go over. It takes careful planning to stay w/in 1200 cals.
-
It was accurate for me for about 9 weeks then I hit a plateau and it's been the same 3 lbs up & down for the last 6 weeks. I kept track every day but I guess it can't track a &:!;$@! plateau. Anyway, I use it as an incentive of hope for the future. Or a warning when I go over cals.

I'm sure sorry to hear about your physical problems, I've got fibro too and nerve pain and other stuff. I walk when I can but this is a note just to let you know I've lost 14 lbs from low cal alone. MFP and fit2fat both say for me to be at 1200 cals and I started at the end of March so it hasn't taken forever. But I spend…

BADMINTON! RACQUETBALL! I kick &$/@ in badminton which sounds sissy but is really hard work. Not so good at Racquetball, but it makes me laugh the entire time I play bc of the fun.

I've lost 13 lbs so far w/ minimal exercise. I used to walk every day 3-5 miles but have an injury which prevents me from walking since January. I have fibromyalgia and nerve pain. I try something and suffer for it that night (not just 'sore muscles'). Sciatica pain prevents most other movement. I miss playing racquetball…

It would be nice to get the law involved if you don't get any attention otherwise. Also, if this is affecting customers somehow, that really gets attention. The boss may or may not care about you, but they want customers to be happy. We were harassed at work and when I started reporting specific customer reactions and…

I closed my food diary bc I don't want well meaning advice from anybody. I've had enough people watching my food intake in my life. Do the research and find what is healthy, consult a nutritionist or Dr. This is a site for encouragement and inspiration it is up to you if you want others to see what you are eating and if it…

3.33 miles per day, I think I can do that.

Sugar free pudding cups, cool whip, WW snacks, special K snacks. I need a sugar treat once a day usually after dinner. The 1-2-3 cake ( recipe on MFP) is really good for 100 cals.
-
Sprinkle cocoa powder into cool whip.
-
I love it, I made it with white cake. My husband wants one, too. Nice 100 cal snack.

How about we call it a SPLURGE? As in: 'I splurged on some candy bars and chips today'. Not out of control, just need a break from dieting. A treat. Some sugar and fat and salt. Different from bingeing but you could feel a little residual guilt if you want.

Depression. Unhappy w/ my life. What a relief I am in a different situation now and I can concentrate on losing again. I'm more than 1/2 way there.
-
Wow! You worked really hard for that, I bet it feels good. That is life changing.

After losing my key in the sandy beach (I found it), I tied a ribbon on it. I safety pin it to anything I'm wearing. Good luck w/ the race!

I was 24. The father said he didn't want a child, so I moved out on my own. Stayed w/ my mom for a few months, found a job. Oh so sad to leave my young son at 6 weeks old in baby daycare. I was a single mom for a year. My son is 28 now. I had all kinds of advice about what to do, but I am very very strong because I went…

I'm sure everyone is different, but mine shows up after 2 days whether I've done good or bad. Sometimes I get away with it altogether.

I did it, left a good job and good house. We eventually married. I wish he had moved to my town instead while I still had that new love power over him. No matter what you do, it will turn out okay, just have a back up plan that you can take care of yourself and be independent if need be. Another thought, are you leaving…

If you read this book, it will save you a lot of trouble in all your future relationships. (I don't know anything about the film). It's written by a guy's perspective and from my experiences, you can believe him. He's Just Not That Into You Greg Behrendt/Liz Tuccillo

Yes, you will fluctuate all day. I will weigh first thing in the am and then an hour later- 1 lb lighter. Then an hour later- 2 lb heavier. The general advice you read on MFP is weigh in once a week. I weigh once a day for incentive, but that's my obsession. So make sure you weigh the same time, whatever you choose to do.

I walk w/ a friend on tue/thur schedule. We get to know each other and have accountability. I have to go bc she's waiting for me.

I'm so glad to not be the only one with sugar/chocolate addiction. One sugary item sets off a binge, then I can hear the voice in my head saying, 'There's not enough sugar in the WORLD to satisfy this'. Jeez! That's what got me into this predicament. I must avoid it.

This is really good with a banana if you don't have strawberries.

Day 1: hmm I don't seem to be able to do any sit ups. I used to do crunches to the exercise DVD I had. What happened? Don't laugh, you guys. I could just get my shoulder blades off the floor. So... I did 'opposite sit ups'. I started at the 'finish' position and went almost to the floor and back up again. Bet I'll be…
