  • Going to do my shred riiiiiiiiight after this hehe... one week down, folks!!
  • The biggest thing to remember is that we need to make healthy choices about what's laid out, and to control the portions. My biggest weakness on holidays is the beer... I won't lie LOL! So I just have to take along a flask of whatever liquor I want to drink and mix it with either diet soda or crystal light or something low…
  • Hang in there, I have 50 lbs. to lose and still only lose 1 lb. per week on average, because I choose to lose slowly so it stays off! Slow and steady wins the race! The closer you are to your goal, the slower it will come off, if you don't consistently change things up, from what I've read ;)
  • so I just did my stats and have lost 3 lbs. and 4.5 inches! wow! I haven't noticed much change, other than my tummy is a little less "fluffy" LOL and my arms do look more defined (but didn't lose inches there, so dunno what to think about that) Hoping to lose another lb. before weigh day... suweet!
  • new stats... was 210, now 207 bust was 46, now 44 waist was 39, now 38 hips was 45, now 44 arm stayed the same thigh was 24.5, now 24 so that's a loss of 3 lbs. and 4.5 inches! wow! planned on taking another rest day, but will sneak in a shred if I feel like it after church.
  • ok now I'm sold hahaha... so do you need the balance board from the wii fit to do the active or is it just optional?
  • I have all sorts of back problems, some similar to yours (the DDD), so I know how just getting out of bed on some days is tough! Walk, don't run. If you have access to a pool, swimming is awesome. Squats and lunges if you can, if not, try wall squats ("sit" in a squat position with your back on the wall), pushups (girl…
  • My own personal goal is 1 lb. a week or 4-5 lbs. per month, knowing there will be good and bad weeks. I really feel, though, that inches are more important. But that's just me :)
  • I missed this morning. Maybe after I hit some sales, I'll get it in... just sorta feel like giving myself a rest day, though, so we'll see. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
  • Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend... I've been a busy bee all morning, finding sales going on this weekend (by the way, Old Navy has their flip flops on sale for $1 today!), now I need to actually get out there and hit the sales LOL. Later this afternoon, going to set up the slip & slide for the kids and hang…
  • Bryce, I would say eat until you are satisfied and don't stress so much. Our bodies talk to us if we listen. Just make sure you're staying over your minimum cals. I usually lose my appetite in the hotter months because thirst takes over. I fill up on so much water, I have to remind myself to eat something substantial. If…
  • Day 5, level 1 will be done in just a bit!! Hope everyone has a good weekend!
  • I'm cleaning out my garage this morning so will have to do shred later today, but WILL do it. Keep up the good work everyone!!
  • Yes!!! I think my water retention is finally letting go!!!!! wooohoooo!! man, that was brutal!
  • Careful on the "light beers"... some are loaded with calories even though they claim to be light LOL. the 64 beer is pretty good but is close to a "near beer" being that it has less alcohol than a normal beer... I think around 3%? I mention that cause you tend to drink more of it to get a "buzz" which causes you to consume…
  • holy smokes, everyone! way to go!! I better see some big numbers this week with all the exercise I've been doing. sheesh. that's frustrating LOL.
  • I am hittin' my 3rd day of shred just as soon as I drop my daughter off, then showering, then going to a friend's to help paint (so more exercise, woohoo!) Remember to drink your water, folks! :)
  • I hope you feel better! ouchie! Just focus on getting better, you can catch up :)
  • You took the thoughts right outta my head lol... I can do it pretty easily too, if I don't apply some intensity and go lighter on the weights. I do man push ups and stick with my 5 lb weights and struggle near the end, so once that struggle is gone, I'll be moving up. That being said, do what you want... it's your work out…
  • I did exercise every day, kept up with my water, ate well, but didn't lose anything this week. That sucks. BUT I did lose an inch off my waist and another off my hips... so that's what really matters, in my book. Anyone else experiencing bloating with this heat??? It's been upper 90's to low 100's around here, and it's…
  • way more important!!! way to go!! Checking in to say I'm doing real well on my eating, drinking water, and exercise... hope to see some good numbers this week hehe (oh I'll be crushed if I don't LOL)
  • Day 2, here I come hehe... Checking up online a bit, then getting it done before anything else (already have shoes on and everything hahaha). Not too sore today, so that means I need to get more intensity in, but I am sore in my calves like some of you hehe.
  • posting this again ;)
  • just finished my daily exercise and am already on my 5th glass of water. starving but going to just eat 1/2 a yogurt, then wait to eat more cause I think my hunger is hormonal LOL. have a good Monday
  • Day one level one is DONE! hehe For those that asked... my personal plan is to do 10 days of each level (10 days level one + 10 days level two + 10 days level three = 30 days). If I feel stronger sooner, I'll bump up sooner, but I don't see that happening. Now off to the shower...
  • The best gift you can give your future baby is a healthy mommy!! Listen to your doctor, and work on the weight loss first. You're young and will have plenty of time to have a child. When you're healthier, you'll be that much more prepared, and since that will take time, you'll be even that more happy to be starting a…
  • for those that haven't seen, there's a new topic for posting our start weight/measurements (I didn't see it til just now)... here's a link: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/53228-30-day-shred-challenge-check-in-5-15?page=1#posts-600186
  • Weight: 210 bust: 46 waist: 39 hips: 45 arm: 14.5 thigh: 24.5
  • I woke up this morning with the thought, today's a new day, a new week, and a new start. After yesterday, I was quite surprised to have such a positive outlook. Then I realized I had overslept and missed church LOL!! oops. Oh well, I made some coffee, updated my myspace (which hadn't been done in a long time), wrote on my…
  • lcorrell, I'm sorry you're going through that with your boyfriend. How disappointing. But at least you caught it and you will do better without him. I've actually had a really rough day. I was hurt by 2 people that I trusted most in my life and it's been trying. While I've forgiven them and hope to move on, forgetting will…
