I agree that if your original goal is a healthy weight, you should go for it. Congrats on the weight loss so far.

This is exactly what I was thinking... this and the fact that it was probably water weight in the beginning and is now probably being replaced by real weight loss, so it's averaging out? I don't know, I'm no expert, that's just my guess. Take victory in the weight you've lost and keep trying your best.

I am a 36DD and really hurt when I first started working out (especially jumping jacks! ouch!) I went to my local target and got a sports bra in a size too small and it works just fine. no need to spend a ton of money. downside? I feel constricted if I leave it on to do housework after my workout. I figured if I'm still…

My son used to have night terrors and eventually grew out of them, but they were extremely scary when he had them. I have no advice but do wish you the best of luck with this. I hope that you can find a solution and rest peacefully soon.

I like when my food is dirt and germ free too LOL!

I think it might depend where you are eating out? I've actually been watching this, myself, for some time now. I don't think it's eating out that's the evil here, I think it's the choices we tend to make when we do eat out. (don't get me wrong, I know the bad choices are way more numerous than the good choices) I don't eat…

Way to go! Keep it up!

Wow, nice work!

Welcome! I do the P90X and have not lost a lot of weight but have seen a difference in the way my body looks, so I'll take it! It's most important to just stay with it, even when you don't want to. Best of luck to you.

Welcome! The choice to take pills or not is totally yours and I will wish you luck either way. Glad to have you here, with us.

good explanation, thanks for sharing. I have to admit the math confuses me a bit

I feel that variety keeps your body guessing and is most beneficial. You may have heard of "muscle confusion". Basically, you need to keep changing things up so your body never settles into a pattern. So do what you feel like doing that day, whether it be cardio, yoga, circuit training, etc. Any work out is better than…

I don't know what to tell you as I have similar problems too, but I noticed you quit smoking 16 days ago and wanted to say congratulations!!

I was just thinking, too, that if she's working out twice a day, she's not eating enough to keep her body fueled.

Thank you for the reminder. I do try to teach my kids what's healthy and what's not but I'm sure I'm not the best example since I don't like veggies much. You're right, though, that the things they learn as kids will stick with them for their entire lives. So again, thanks for the reminder.

If you can get away with eating just a bite of something, then eat it. I think the danger would be if you can't stop at that one bite and keep going. I agree with others in saying that some chocolates are actually good for you, in moderation. I'm no expert but I don't see a problem with a "treat" every once in a while. I…

Interesting.. I must be a sun sneezer cause when I feel a sneeze coming on that won't come out, if I look into light or sun, it works. hehe
-
Hahaha and here I thought it was just cause I was working so hard! Will try the ice and ib. Thanks for the tips!

I'd like to join in.. so you need my start weight (which is my current weight, right?) I'm 210. Let me know if you need more info.

I'm new here, can you explain what this is for? Sorry.
-
I get those too, and what feels like knives in my shins. No fun.

My ob/gyn always told me that stretch marks are genetic. If you're going to get them, you're going to get them. No amount of cream or oil or lotion is going to stop it. But who knows, doctors are people too and can be wrong. I do notice my stretch marks look less noticeable after I get a tan but then you have to decide...…

I'm sorry you had a rough day. We all have them. Remember tomorrow's a new day, so start fresh with a clean slate and a new attitude. You can do it!

Hi. I'm new too. Your build sounds similar to mine and I want to be around 160ish, so it looks like we are on the same path. Good luck to you.
