9 miles in 30 minutes of spin class...and those were hard earned miles as we were up off that seat most of the class. I have a feeling my quads are going to be filing a formal complaint around noon today!

You aren't supposed to have to wait the three days with the Brazilian Blowout...you do if you got the Brazilian Keratin treatment. Knowing how much it costs to have done, I would not get it wet...but I'm a cheapskate. Yes, it is an excuse...but there are things you can do without turning into a sweat factory.

+3.45 for me today. 2.05 doing C25K week 5 day 1 1.4 on the elipitcal See the mileage really adds to the motivation. Loves it.

I don't see a problem with this since it only takes 20-25 minutes to complete. Any mixed weights\cardio class you could take would be an hour long so why not make Shred an hour long.

You are such a STAR!!!

After a prolonged bunch of booty being sick, I'm back! 9.5 miles added from spin this morning!

Because I am still losing weight and inches, I'm not that excited about spending the kind of money I would need to spend to get a great sports bra. Instead, I just wear two bras. A regular underwire and then and spandexy sports bra from Target over that. I but the sportsbra one size small. I get good compression without…

11 miles done in a great half hour of spin this morning. Should make for some pretty good jello knees in BodyPump and Zumba tonight!!

I would like to join. My goal for this month is 140 miles - running, spinning, and elipticalling. It's gonna hurt.

The key is making your own food. The biggest for me was ditching lunch meats...instead I either roast or chicken or grill chicken breasts, thinly slice, and use that instead. Plus a roasted chicken leftovers make an awesome stock.

That would be your skin and blood doing their job to keep you cool. I'm very fair and the slightest hint of warmth and it looks like I've got a sunburn from hell.

I replace with 2% milk...and if it needs to be thickened, just add some cornstarch.

204!!? In one year??!! You are a freaking star!! I am so very proud of you and I don't know you. Congratulations and thank you for the inspiration!

Oh, look...another week of zero movement. I don't think I can take it. It's like my body knows when I'm zeroing in on a goal and just shuts down. 3/17/11 207.9 3/25/11 205.7 4/1/11 204.8 4/8/11 203.7 4/15/11 203.7

I work through my lunch so that I can hit the gym in the morning before work...but if I had that hour I would do some meal planning, couponing, reading, and crafting.

Just be happy that they are only getting smaller. Mine are getting longer.

Too much calcium may inhibit iron absorption. Too much vitamin A may interfere with vitamin D function, leading to bone fractures. And vitamin E taken in amounts over 20 times the RDA can have an anticlotting effect―potentially dangerous if you're already taking aspirin or blood thinners Here is a link to a pretty concise…

Great goals for the week and an amazing loss for the week, Denise!! Today's positive statement: I like the way I look today. That very nearly makes me want to cry. I know it's silly. But I put on a shirt that I used to not wear because it was tight around my hips...today I belted it above my waist just to give it shape and…

Good morning!! I killed the water challenge...but honestly I get at least 10 glasses by 9am everyday. I am at 203.7 for the week...down just 1.1 lbs. I'm trying to be happy that it is a loss. On the bright side...that puts me at 50% to goal! I think I'm going to work on bumping up my calories a little bit. this will be the…

Congrats, everyone! I'm looking forward to this week's challenge that better not include anything so gross and chugging milk all day ;)

From this article, I found: http://www.watercure.com/faq.html *It is very important you balance your sodium intake with your water consumption. Take 1/4 teaspoon of salt per quart of water - every 4-5 glasses of water. Be sure to get sea salt. The best is Celtic sea salt or Himalayan sea salt, both of which are readily…

-.9 for the week. I will take it. With way less working out than normal I'm happy to see any downward movement at all...I'm pretty sure if I could've gotten all this crap to drain out of my sinuses I would've been a pound lighter! No way I was participating in your gross out milk challenge...but I did manage to work in 240…

52 pounds in 29 weeks. No secrets...I eat well and I exercise like it is my job. Anyone can do this but you have to be committed and stay committed. And PS...congrats on losing 30 lbs in 3 months. That's awesome and you are on the right track. And PPS...I've known four people who had bypass or the band...and yes, they lost…

I drink anywhere from 15 to 25 8oz glasses of water a day...I'm still alive. When I started drinking water, I was always thirsty. It was a good thing because it helped me establish my water habit.

Make sure you are doing your squats properly. *Your butt should never go lower than your knees *Feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart *Keep your weight on your heels (you should be able to wiggle your toes through the whole movement) *Make sure your knees track over your feet

It's likely plantar fasciatus ... through many shoe changes and lots of advil...the thing that works the very best is the foot massage ball. It's about the size of a golf ball with lots of little fingers...it looks like a dog toy. you just roll your foot on it...that stretches that tendon and that releases the pain.

Repeat post because math is hard... I am very happy to report that even though I have been sick as a dog and totally bailed on the gym this week...I lost 2.2 lbs. Because I can't breathe, making the gym a lofty idea...I killed it on my bathroom break squats and wall push ups yesterday..180 squats and 120 pushups...I am…

Woot!! I won the St. Patty's challenge and didn't even know. I feel bad that s_hamm_08 bailed at the last minute...she had it in the bag! I am so ready to start this new challenge especially with the added weekly challenges. Of course for the beginning of a challenge I have to be sick...I think with the weight I've lost in…
