  • I so agree!! One VS store told me I was an A and one told me I was a C!!! I too am complicated by the way they try to measure! Some B's are big on me and some I pop out of and some fit just right!! So I will be checking this out at home too!
  • I am starting the couch to 5k program. There are tons of apps for your phone or you can google it and write down the schedule if you don't have a smartphone. Its a 9 week program and you run 3 days a week. But you can also take it at your own pace and repeat days or weeks if you need too. I just started today and since I…
  • I would go based of the HRM it is more likely the most accurate of the two.

  • Thank you! I am not sure if it is the incisions themselves that hurt (I have 4 and only 2 bother me) or if it the inside part that is still healing. But I was released back to work after a week and I gave myself another week to chill out before starting it. I will keep repeating day 1 til I conquer it at least.
  • I was recently (as in the last two weeks) in JC Penney's and saw they have tons of colorful stuff there. I like to hit up TJ Maxx once in a while too.
  • I want a fitbit but I'm poor so for the time being I have a little cheap $5 pedometer I got through work. but definitely check out what it does before getting one. Mine you can calibrate to your weight and stride to make it more accurate and not all the cheapo ones will do that.
  • My daily driver is a 2001 s10 ext cab 4x4...I'd like something bigger but I paid this off 8 months early so I will just deal...it's only got 107k miles on it anyway Then for fun on weekends and stuff like that I have a 71 chevy C10 flatbed 4 speed...110k original miles....but its a rusty ol' beater that needs alot of work…
  • I dont think she was being judgemental and from the way it was posted almost sounds like the word smug wasnt even the word she was looking for. I think she was saying that she is proud of herself for making better decisions in that it could have been her cart used to look like that!!! But way to go guys for being negative…
  • Ok so I dont have an opinion on the repeat BUT...my suggestion for the cramps and light headedness...my dad and I experience this a lot when we are working or exercising...gatorade is awesome to help out with cramps and bring up blood sugars which can cause a lightheaded feeling. If you don't want all the extra calories…
  • I do both! Only me and the group I go with do it a little different than most. A lot of outfitters will rent a boat to you on a 8-10 mile stretch on a river for a day float. Well we do that exact same stretch but make it over 2 days...we float down half way and set up camp then float out the next day. We float the buffalo…
  • also if you are a pinterest person get on there! There are alot of "schedule" things that are like 100 jumpin jacks, 50 crunches, 30 push ups....etc...but all of them are different too
  • I felt so dumb after hearing her order it because I thought to myself "and why in sam h*** did I never think of this myself!?!?!"
  • back when I could order a half of a menu from a place and not gain a pound I played that card a couple times. There were a couple restaraunts (including fast food places) that always always got my order wrong. Either I got something comepletely different from what I ordered or they gave my order to me incorrectly.....I…
  • I am 5'9"....originally my goal was 150 but I am 154 right now so i think I am going for 145....I'm using an old pair of jeans as a guide!
  • That is awesome!!! It would make me want to go back to the store and show them just to prove the associates don't always know better!!!
  • anyone!?!? anyone at all!?!?
  • I think everyone should just butt out of your business and be happy for you if you are happy!! If there werent such things as interracial relationships the United States would be a heck of a lot different than it is now (I'm sure this applies for other countries too). But seriously the US is a melting pot of races anyway…
  • It probably isnt as accurate as an HRM but if you are like me and on a budget (a very very small budget at that) then the app should be just fine. If they don't ask for the other info it's too hard to tell.
  • pick one and stick to it...the one you pick may not be the most accurate but at least you stay consistant that way. Flip flopping could mess up numbers even worse
  • You can always grab a protein bar or shake before hand if you want something quick. I have to do something like that just to keep my blood sugar up since I am hypoglycemic.
  • yea I noticed that diet dew cans are "0 cal" and yet a 20 oz bottle of diet dew was "10 cals" or whatever  ...then i got to looking at diet dr pepper and it says 0 on both. I like diet cherry dr pepper best. I also like diet root beer but theyre caffiene free :ohwell: so no help there
  • Regardless of the program you chose...insanity, P90X, or cross fit...just be sure to listen to your body. Obviously all of them will make your muscles sore and thats normal but like an above poster said you will know the "bad kind" of pain. My friend had surgery on her shoulder but is better now. At least with insanity or…
  • From everything I have read there isn't a reason to cut back other workout routines. But I would also listen to your body and if it says you need to slow up on something do it. You should be fine though I would think.
  • I see alot of people doing insanity or P90X instead of cross fit....I haven't done any of them myself but have had a lot of friends do crossfit or those programs....my word of advise be careful and listen to the "instructor"....just had a friend blow out her shoulder from crossfit during an incorrect movement.
  • I can tell you that a good resting heart rate is between 60-80 (I work for the cardiology dept in my hospital) but obviously a little above or below that is ok so don't freak out. but as far as exercise heart rate I can't help you on that one.
  • I am starting C25k monday but I would go with the app if it asks for height, weight, etc. because it is tracking your speed and distance for you. But if you have a HRM definitely use that!
  • eeewww cant stand even looking at mushrooms!!! but cheese....oh CHEESE! How i love me some cheeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!!! Any kind of cheese...sliced, cubed, string, mozzerella, cheddar, pepperjack (which is weird since I don't like peppers in other food), american (i know i know).... and ranch....I use ranch like most people use…
  • I used to get the individual wrapped sara lee muffins from the hospital cafe once in a while as a nice treat. Then I started counting calories...those muffins are 400-800 cals!!! GEEZ!!! Fruit kinda surprised me too. My boyfriend isn't counting calories but he cooks dinner 99.99% of the time, he makes a point to ask me my…
  • Since certain sites aren't available to me now I will just tell you about it and hope to remember the site later.... pinterest has a recipe for 100 cal puppy chow For those who don't know what puppy chow is, its chex cereal covered in chocolate and powdered sugar basically. Not exactly healthy but keep it in moderation and…
