  • ok as long as you eat back what you excercise from the "Daily calories based on goal in step 6" field, not "Daily calories to maintain weight (TDEE)" numbers. BUT only if you selected "desk job". If you included your weekly workouts in that caluculation then it is already accounting for those extra calories needed to eat…
  • Your TDEE is what your body needs to maintain your current weight. If you eat your TDEE back and what you burn during excercise, you will gain weight. You need to subtract 20% from your TDEE, then eat back your calories (or eat half back, that's what I do)…
  • Should be 1624 minus 20% is 1300 cals. Now add your 721 back on = 2021
  • My 3-2-1 cake is about 120 cals. Add some fat free whip topping and it's a nice treat. Plus there is no leftover cake sitting around calling my name!
  • I was once like you- in search of the "quick fix". It doesn't exist. You will end up being frustrated and discouraged. It wasn't until I finally figured out what my body needs to maintain my weight and what I need to exercise to lose weight. Please read this to help figure out what is best for you-…
  • Congrats on your weight loss howver, olive oil did not cause you to loose weight. Eating a calorie deficit and excercise did. Sorry to burst your bubble. You are only a month in though, keep it up and don't get discouraged.
  • Small wrap, half avocado sliced, slice of deli turkey, 2 strips bacon, 1/4 cup egg whites cooked in microwave, fresh black pepper 269 cals, 23 carbs, 28 fat, 20 protein Fills me up!
  • Just made a variation of this at lunch- Chia seeds, milk, cinnamon, splash of vanilla, splenda Might try granola next time too! Thanks
  • half a cup of cottage cheese...yumm

  • I totally agree! I once saw someone admit that they change the food in the database so their diary for the day is lower than reality! That's cheating yourself, the others who use that entry, totally defeats the purpose of this site AANDD wastes my time fixing entries! bah!~
  • bump I have to watch these from home!
  • I will be floating in the Carribean on a cruise for my birthday this January 5th. Everybody on that ship is gonna know it's my birthday and I don't care! Paaarty in my cabin 9232! yea!
  • 5lbs for me would be ideal. I'm ok with my weight now and wouldn't be too upset if it didn't happen. But 5lbs would be great! So looking forward to New Years :drinker: Caribbean cruise over New Years + my birthday + feeling great in a bikini= best vacation ever!
  • Without looking at your diary, I don't know. I know anything carbonated will bloat me up and any day I have had a lot of carbs- pizza, pasta, breads, I get bloated too. Maybe your core muscles are weak and your posture is poor? Practice stomach vaccums. Helps strengthen the deeper ab muscles.
  • ^^^ wrong. Eat at a calorie deficit and excercise to lower bodyfat percentage.
  • buy a different brand? I buy frozen chicken breasts and mine aren't rubbery. ETA: I have tried other brands and some are really gross. Slimy and smell funny, I knew that wasn't the greatest quality chicken :indifferent: I buy mine at M&M Meat Shops, not sure if they have that in the US though.
  • Look up Fitness Blender on Youtube. Free and effective.
  • Water. ETA- seriously though, water. I drink 4 liters a day. You would be suprised how often you "feel" hungry but you are really just thirsty. oh, and I chew gum, more for flavor. I find I just want to taste something.
  • I don't have any and I have all intentions to one day do this....but here are some sites http://onceamonthmom.com/ http://www.food.com/recipes/oamc-freezer-make-ahead http://www.realfood4realpeople.com/oamc.html
  • I just was confirmed last week that I have an umbilical hernia, right above my belly button. Doesn't hurt thankfully. Consultation with the Dr. Nov 12 to talk about the surgery. I've read that full recovery after surgery is 4-6 weeks, listen to your body and keep excercise light. I plan on doing no more heavy weights until…
  • I put my daughter's enjoyment first over the other kids in the neighbourhood. We turned off all the lights, went trick or treating for an hour and came back to hand out candy after.
  • bump, awesome!
  • Thanks! Any other people who got one while trying to work out regularly?
  • Thanks for the reply ladies. Now I know what to expect a bit better :)
  • That's interesting and explains why I seem to maintain at net 1500-1600 calories but loose steadily when I try to net 1200. Everyone says that is too low and to eat more, but I'm 5'2, 121lbs. When I excercise I try to burn 300 calories and only eat half of that back. BMR caluclators say I should be netting 1480... Thank…
  • bump to look at later!

  • My problem too. I wipe mine after putting it on and problem solved. No more 200+ beats per minute. Also I find that when I am sitting and the strap is not tight against my chest, I get incorrect readings.
  • Bump for schedule on page 5
