HaHa, I saw a few girls say the same so I will admit to it too. I say I am 5'2", but in soothe, I am really 5'1.5" exactly. I love sushi; yellow tail is my favorite. I used to soak my sushi in soy sauce, but since trying to watch my sodium I have learned to use the wasabi as an alternative. I just put a tiny bit on the chopsticks and then pick up the roll. Flavor, spice, and everything nice. If they have ginger ice cream it is fun to try too. I…

Among other things , I have also been diagnosed with GAD and PMDD. Origionally I took prozac, and later, when meds were being adjusted and I couldn't figure out why I was gaining weight, a doctor finally told me people usually gain on Prozac. I was switched to wellbutrin, and as you can see I have had some success…

Complacency. While all the choices are good, I don't believe it is the root, especially since many who strive for excellence can incorporate all those choices into a lifestyle and still be successful. IMHO, the american culture is no longer the underdog, but the gimme culture. The percentage of people I see don't strive…

You look great, and I adore your after dress!

If you still have those outfits, put them on and take pictures in them. I wasn't seeing a difference either until I took a picture with the same shirt. In fact, I think I will save it till I reach my goal. The police outfit would be the best if you still have it. :o)

I agree! I have a lot of people who get upset at me because I am out of the loop when I don't check fb. I'm sorry I have a life, and that does not involve being inside on a computer all day long.

Well Said! :drinker: I feel the same way about friends, and have had this issue ever since I can remember. It is only until the last few years, I am realizing a big part of the issue. I am very, very assertive, and since learning this, I have learned to tone down depending on the circumstances which can be very difficult…

I agree about measuring your inches; I also agree on watching what you are eating. In your food diary I notice you only track the big three: carb, fat, protein. I also track sodium and fiber in mine. At first, I didn't really care about my sodium, but I have noticed that as I have worked to remain close to the daily…

And tmi moment, I have not had this happen to me. I was even told too much watermelon can do this. I was really surprised because I can eat half a watermelon by myself and have no repercusions (unless I just plain over eat on it).

If it is, I'm screwed, hehe. As long as I can remember, I eat/drink enough citrus that my family has joked my blood is probably acidic. I like grapefruit, oranges, strawberrier (love strawberries); I eat lemons and limes like I eat oranges. I add enough lemon juice to my water to turn my water a milky color. I have had…

I so agree! And when you get to where you are going you can look back and remember you had the gumption and perservered, and it paid off!

PPS: You should really have a goal weight and an estimated deadline. A goal without a deadline is just a dream, and I find this statement to be very true. I notice our your ticker you have a gw, so I don't know if you have already done this, but may I suggest using your height and using the mid-weight for the healthy range…

I don't always have time to write emails, but I know how you feel and I respond to statuses (sp?). I found a good bunch of mfp friends who encourage me on my down days and make me smile and want more on my positive days. If you would like to add me, feel free too! PS I also own a fitbit (fitbit.com) that helps me stay…

Very inspirational, with an incredibly fitting title in which I can relate! I stared half-hearted in October, but as I have seen results slow and steady I have wiorked harder, and all this lost weight is without diet pills. I hope I get to where you are, instead of wondering if my body type will allow it. My heaviest was a…

Let's see, I get that same way, and it doesn't help me that I utilize military gyms, so now not only do I feel out of shape and awkward, I also feel like I have a bunch of soldiers jusging me. Granted, I doubt this is true, especially since by going to a gym I am showing I care enough to mak a difference. I don't have the…

Wow you are making some amazing progress!

This just makes me smile and think of the movie "Demolition Man". :o)

I myself am not into bikinis, I like the "leave it to the imagination" look, but if, and that is a Big If, I ever had a rocking body I might be persuaded to look into some of the monokinis out there (the tasteful ones). My thing is I love to play in the water not just show off, and I feel that in a bikini, I only worry…

LOL. I have had this tune stuck in my head since I started looking into a family vacation to seaworld. (I grew up in Buffalo, NY). "In Niagra Falls, Ontario, Marine land is the place to go. Seeing friends you miss a great big kiss..." That's all I pretty much remember being it was from 20 years ago...I wonder if they have…
