:flowerforyou: Bump. This will be helpful for me, my husband and I are looking to visit San Diego for his block leave. Thank you for asking such a great question!

I keep up with my weekly weigh in, but I don't report this to mfp. I do this because I love seeing the weight drop dramatically after tom. :o)
-
Usually I gain about 2# the week before my cycle starts; there have been times when I have gained 4#. I have noticed that as long as I remain self aware of what I am ingesting and continue exercise, the weight usually drops towards the end of my cycle. Sometimes I lose even more than just the water gain from TOM. :o) You…

I do this too, and it is very helpful!

A lot of what I would say is mentioned here, but I will give a little more info about how I chose. First and foremost, I would like to say I love my fitbit, even tho it is not a heart rate monitor, and it has been a huge help with my weight loss goals, as well as helping me to be more active! I myself had a lot of…

Wow, amazing pictures, and you look so much younger! It is good to know that you can repair damage to a degree; I always thought that what damage was done was there to stay and you could only work to make it not get worse.

Awesome visual and a great reminder! Thanks!
-
wow, that is a big change in 3 months, you look great!

I live in a hilly foothills area, and I haven't had issues with the fitbit logging my ride either. I used to log diligently the time I spent in a car, but after seeing maybe, occasionally, 20 steps in an hour's worth of time, I decided it was a waste of time. :o)
-
What I do when driving for long periods of time is I turn the timer on at the start and off at the stop. Then later during the day, I use the activity log and plug in that i was driving and the program will readjust the calories. This is also useful for water activitites, and stationary workout equipment. As for the poster…

I may not be from Texas, but I now live in El Paso! I can relate to the heat. My biggest trouble tho is when I am gone all day (SAHM); I haven't figured out how to eat healthy without worrying about food getting spoiled in the car!

Let's see, my weight loss/"slimming down" is very important to me while my husband is deployed. As a result, I have a food scale to weigh what I eat, and I have a fitbit (which uses MET's for caloric burn). I do go by my fitbit calorie burn, and when I do want to calculate how fast I have walked i use this formula:…

Bump....Anyone on earndit.com?
-
True, but I would expect over eating and not working out a lot easier to reach, as opposed to counting for a deficit and finding time to workout. Sounds like an easy way to say you attained your goal, without putting any real effort into it a goal.. ..unless she counts her daily calories to stay on target for 1200#.

hehe, I am a nerd too, and one of my favorite programs is Excel. Anyway.... I tried going to your profile and looking for a food diary, but alas there was none. So you say you already add strength, how is your protien and calorie intake...Would it be time to tweak your regimine?…

For those ladies on here, feel free to check out my profile and see if you would like to add me. I started with this site and fitbit and love them both. I must say tho, when I have health questions or fitness equipment questions, I am usually on livestrong for research. :o)
