If it is OK for men to date much younger women then why not they other way around. Just go for it and have some fun. Life is short.

You look great in the before pictures and no worse for losing weight in the second.

Biking is great fun.... but not if you live on a hill as I do!

Look, you look sensational. You don't need to lose any more. Just exercise and diet to maintain your current figure. Eat more if you keep on losing weight.

I use Fitbit, it;s great: reliable and easy to use.

I have a Scosche myTREK which I like very much and find invaluable. It has a arm sensor, no awkward chest monitor, and connects to my iPhone by Bluetooth, so no adapters required. The app that comes with it looks very pretty but is buggy and unreliable. I use the Digifit iPhone app works really well with it.…

I have a Scosche myTREK which features an armband monitor and bluetooth connection. Work really well with the Digifit iPhone app and soon (hopefully) the Runkreeper app. The official Scosche myTREK iPhone app looks great but in reality sucks big time. With Digifit it works great and is very easy to use.…

Don't give up, you will get there. It does seem depressing when you work hard and don't see any results but it will work in the end. You have lots of friends here, friends that you don't yet know, that have been through the same struggle. You can do it.

Your hard work and dedication has paid off. Well done.

I have an Elliptical and use it daily - but I don;t believe the calorie burn levels ascribed to it. I regularly use it for two one hour sessions daily but it is only at the end of the second session that I start to feel tired. I usually cut by half the calories MFP estimates for the Elliptical before I post them.

By all means add me too!

I am, or was to be more accurate, a newspaper photographer and picture editor. After working on various UK local and national newspapers for most of the 1990's I lived and worked in Havana, Cuba, where I ran my own news agency. Sold up and returned home to care for my elderly and infirm father.

Give these websites a try: http://www.dutchovendude.com/cooking-measurement.shtml http://www.traditionaloven.com/tutorials/conversion.html http://www.recipes4us.co.uk/us_cups_to_weight.htm The problem is that the amount varies according to what you are measuring a cup of - a cup is a measure of volume not weight - ie a cup…

Since I was a child the government here in the UK have been doing their best to make us go fully decimal - and that means using Kgs in place of pounces, ounces, stones etc. But most (older) people still think in terms of pounds and stones. It was bad enough when they changed the old money and then took away our furlongs,…

I am a vegetarian, so anything without meat and of course I avoid cheese and fatty stuffs whenever practical. So it's mainly fresh fruit and veg, pasta, bread.

I have to doubt at least some of the calorific burns rates estimate by MFP and other websites for at least some activities They claim that an hour on an elliptical trainer uses 8-900 calories. I personally doubt this as it tires me far less than a couple of hours brisk walking which apparently uses fewer calories.. Now…
