  • PaytraB, thanks for the encourgement. (I'm just now seeing your post)
  • I forgot to post my Monday evening routine...I completed W3D2...burning 236 calories. I decreased my speed from 5.0 to 4.0 the second run time around.
  • RedfootDaddy, yes that's probably what it is. I tend to read the workouts ahead of time and that has been intimidating. My advice is to just give W2 a try without any thought. What's the worse that can happen?! The best would be that you try it, if you find the need to scale back...so be it...IT'S OK. The fact remains, you…
  • Hello all I haven't posted in a while. I fell off for about 3 weeks during the holiday's, however I'm back at it. I had decided to incorporate the pre-programmed Incline routines into my treadmill workout and BOY OH BOY.. I finally tackled W3D1 of the C25K App. Yes I've been repeating week 2 for a couple of months. I was…
  • Hello Ladies/Gents...it's been a while (3 weeks at least). Today is my first day back to spending time with my treadmill. I'm still using my C25K App. I've been repeating Week 2 (3 times I believe). C25k W2D1 35 mins 2% incline 254 Cals burned rotation of walking and jogging Let's hope I can get back to my 3 day a week…
  • C25K W2D1 again. I haven't reached the point where I feel it's "easy", so I'm sticking with this week until it does before moving on. 31 mins incline 2.5% 247 cals burned
  • C25K 31 Mins - rotating walking and jogging - pace of 3.0 for walking and 5.2 jogging - incline of 0%-3% - 253 Calories burned
  • that is AMAZING NikonPal, keep up the great work! I'm not losing more than 2lbs a week. I'm still going at it. I just finished W2D1 of the C25K. I find it easier to do each week twice. I burned 253 calories just now!
  • I've been eating pretty well. My struggle is eating my net calories (I think I said that right). I never eat/replace the calories I burn so I'm always under my calorie goal. I don't know if that's bad or good.
  • Hello All! Today I hit the pavement. I'm part of a group in my community in which they (because I rarely exercise outside, I'm saying "they" lol) pick various trails to run/walk/jog as a group. Unfortunately, not too long ago, one of the young ladies was attacked during an early morning run which caused her to vow to never…
  • That's pretty cool addiec1! I'm still going at it. It seems I'm managing 3 times a week. I'm hoping to increase to 4 days a week eventually. Today's workout: C25K W2D2 I made a mistake and hit the wrong button removing all of my stats. I rotated between walking and jogging: -Total of 10 mins jogging at a speed of 5.2 - 21…
  • I went back to W2D1 of C25K, it wasn't too bad! I'll probably stick with week 2 for two weeks like I did with week 1. 5 min warm up walk at a brisk pace, then alternate 90 seconds of jogging and two mins of walking for total of 20 mins and then 5 min cool down. walk 3.0, jog 5.0 2% incline, lowered two 0% a couple of times…
  • I hit the treadmill again yesterday, my same routine C25K W1D3 repeat. I think I'm ready to move on to week 2 now. 30.29 Mins walk/jog rotation between 3.5 & 5.0 speed 1.811 miles constant 2% incline Burned 245 Calories according to my treadmill
  • Thanks addiec1! I'm still at it...Yesterday I repeated W1D3 with a constant 2% incline. I'm finding that it's getting much easier. By the time I'm at my last run, it feels like I've done just enough before I feel like giving up. I think I'll keep repeating until it's much easier before going to another week. I'm also…
  • Hello All, Today I repeated the C25K W1D3 routine. I'm feeling comfortable with week 1 so maybe moving on to week 2 won't feel as challenging as before. I also decided to workout longer after my 30 min C25K routine and walked for another 32 mins. 401 Calories 3.011 Miles 62.17 minutes 2% incline first 30 mins rotated…
  • Also, I rotated between an incline of 0%-3%
  • Hello All, Today I repeated Week 1 Day 3 of C25K. - Walked at 3.5 mph and ran at 5.0 mph. Once I completed that 30 min routine, I walked for another 15 mins at 3.5. I burned a total of 309 calories. Hey Nikon, GREAT JOB on your increase!! Good Night All!! :)
  • Very interesting article. I rarely drink pop/soda but I do like to have some here and there. I had a sunkist last week. I logged it into my food diary here on MFP and could not believe the damage it did to my calorie intake lol. I totally agree with including exercise data on items. That would deter me much faster than…
  • Hello..I'm still at it! I've been following the C25K app since last Wednesday. Yesterday I started Week 2 Day 1 and BOY OH BOY was that a challenge. I struggled getting my last run in. I'm rotating between walking/jogging 90 seconds each. I'm thinking about repeating Week 1 until I feel more comfortable! Hang in there…

  • Last night I had the TV on, however I didn't pay much attention to it. I started concentrating on form and looking through apps on my phone. However, my approach will probably be music most times.
  • Well my treadmill arrived today as planned. I used one of the workout incline programs for half of an hour, rotating between 3.0-4.0 speed & rotating between 2%-5% incline. I walked the entire time. I think I'll gradually get back to my walk/jog (perhaps next week).

  • Hello, I'm in my late 30s. I too have a sedentary job. I haven't been exercising much most of this year. This time last year I was spinning twice a week, training for a C25K through my job and I simply fell off the wagon once winter hit. I still walk in the mornings but ..... Now I'd like to get back to it. I'm a single…
  • I will be receiving my treadmill tomorrow and have been searching for others who primarily use a treadmill for their workouts. Count me in if you don't mind. My goal is to get fit, lose 20 lbs & work my way from a walk/jog rotation to jogging/running.
  • Hi...I'm in the same boat. I've been participating in a couch to race day program, we haven't ran much, the focus has been on strength training so that we're strong enoug to be able to run. We've ran indoors a couple of times. I hit the pavement/trail for the first time in a loooooong time yesterday...I walked/jogged for…
  • Hello, I've started spinning back in December of last year. I decided to try it after hearing other girlfriends of mine rave about it. I did take a month and a half off but I started back this week. The soreness will go away eventually as long as you stick to it. I too still take a padded seat covering to class. It gets…
