Cheat days everything is in portions. I choose sundays due to football with family and friends. However I like to make healthy snacks with the normal football snacks. i snack all day and druink plenty of water. As my exercise goes up so do my protein intake. It is really not the calorie but what is in the calories if you understand that.

For self defense and your a good shot go with a revolver .45, .44. Not a lot of kick but enough power to let them know your there. Plus you do not need a clip unless you plan to chase them down if you miss. Most gun fights do not go pass 3 rounds.

You can always do cross fit exercises, run swim runs pending on the weather, with your circut training add combat fighting into the routine. I have seen lot of military do Insanity. Love it!
