pending on your physical fitness level. To slim down you will need to do cardio. However to get stronger do some resistant traning or cross fit. You will burn calories while getting stronger. Interval traininh is another avenue you should look into.

My wife has the same issues. Knee supports is one way to start. We do the Insanity workout together and her knees can not suport th impacts so we decided on some exercises she does leg lifts, crunches and low impact exercises. This way she is still there with me. Swimmingis best exercise for knee problems or biking.

I agree with hollymowery! Also we like insanity work out. but I also have a crossfit training course. really cheap to make. if you google it and you can find equipment needed local areas for cheap pending on your goals

What I do is post reminders of my goals where I will see them the most. Example the kitchen, computer, at work and on the bathroom mirror.
