The Garmin Vivovit 3 is only $66 on Amazon and will sinc to MFP I think. https://www.amazon.com/Garmin-vivofit-Activity-Tracker-Regular/dp/B01BKUB66K/ref=sr_1_sc_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1507824542&sr=1-3-spell&keywords=garmin+vivovit

Most super fast weight losses will come from shifts in water weight. My biggest drop this effort has been 2.6lbs but it came back the next week.

Yeah, pre-log and measure. I like boxes of wine because I don't feel like I have to finish a bottle. I don't know where you live (I live in CO), but uh, can you smoke weed instead? It doesn't have any calories as long as you don't overeat afterwards. But good for you for putting in all the effort for your daughter.

I just started shooting for 1800 on weekdays so I can have 2 days around 2500 on weekends. I'm totally going to pretend I'm doing "re-feeds" and not just that I like to drink too much and eat crap on weekends.
-
Would I? Absolutely. I can lose weight eating 2000 calories a day. With your statistics you can most likely go even higher than that. Tell MFP you are lightly active and you want to lose a pound a week. What goal does it give you?
-
So sad.
-
I've hear watermelon and dandy-lion tea.
-
I can totally see a difference. Look at your natural waist! It's definitely smaller, less fat in the front of the stomach, and even your legs are thinner.
-
So, if we use 1400, and 2200, that's 1627 on average. Is 1627 low enough for you to lose weight? If so, there's no need to punish yourself about or even change your weekends.

I have a 2013 Scott Spark 910 that I really like but it's more of a light weight XC bike. If you want something that will handle more technical stuff you could consider the Scott Genius. The good thing about Scotts is that they each come in many different versions and price point, plus two wheel sizes. The lower the…

Including your weekends (are you counting on weekends) how many calories are you averaging? It's okay to look at your weekly averages instead of daily, which can allow for some extra freedom on weekends.

I got like 6 of the silicone rings for $10 on Amazon. Different colors. I just like having a ring. It's just a preference. I don't think it changes my level of commitment, or is some kind of magical signal for people to leave me alone, or whatever. I wear them to travel, or just a lot during the summer when my fingers get…

Yeah, I have a knock off of the flip belt. So much nicer than carrying my phone.
-
Yup, add deadlifts, and lunges (I really feel these in my butt), and maybe glute bridges. I do squats, and straight legged deadlifts (hits hamstrings a lot) on day 1, and regular deadlifts and lunges on day 2.
-
My workouts take 40min and I lift full body 3 times a week.
-
I don't think you look "unhealthy" in those pictures. However you might look a little more "healthy" with a few extra pounds of fat. And I think your muscles look great.
-
6' and 178lbs? I wouldn't cut. I'd slow your bulk though to 1-2lbs a week and find a quality hypertrophy program.
-
If you enter a half pound a weekend into MFP, and then enter your exercise and eat the extra calories, I bet it'd be a LOT more than 1200.
-
I bought a Titan T-3. I love lifting in my basement in my pajamas.
-
Yes of course. That's why there is a range. I look healthy and fit at the top of the BMI range (160) where smaller built women would not. I have broad shoulders, big hips, a big rib cage, a big head, big hands, etc. I haven't been at the bottom (128) ever but I don't think I would look healthy at all.
-
Yeah, I bet those veggies are making you bloat and giving you gas. Sometimes too much fiber is a problem. Make sure you are getting fats too, helps things run more smoothly.
-
Anyone, healthy weight or not, should get regular physicals with blood work. Last time I got one, I was well within the healthy limit but mentioned I wanted to lose more and my doctor was supportive.

If you are sick, you are sick. Not much you can do about it.

Your goal of 1550 calories should already be a deficit. You probably burn 2000+ calories a day just by living. You should NOT be coming in 1550 UNDER your goal. You should eat to your goal, assuming your exercise calories are correct, which they probably are not. Can you make your dairy public? How long have you been stuck…

I've been here a while. I've seen 2 couples meet here (from different states) and eventually end up married. One couple has since divorced but the others are still together, I think.
-
I often skip breakfast. That way I'm only "hungry" for a small period of time, and it's a period of time I usually better at resisting temptation (more awake, busier, etc). It makes it easier to come under my calorie goal. As long as you are getting adequate protein and doing strength training muscle lose will be limited…

I lift 3 times a week, compound, full body, barbell only (because that's what i have).
-
Yeah, I would find a program that works with the equipment you have, not try to modify a program that doesn't.
-
You need to let it go. This is how our bodies work. Try the Libra or Happy Scale app. If you lose 2lbs of fat this week, you lose 2lbs of fat this week regardless of what the 4lbs of water does.

Yeah, I'm a thigh/hips/butt gainer. Belly is very last.
