For which woman? For me 1800 to 2000 is enough to lose weight. You've been stuck for a month? How's your food logging accuracy? Are you using a scale? has anything changed that might cause you to retain excess water?

My husband doesn't lift legs. :'(
-
I count the whole thing. Or generally give myself about 100 calories extra. I also use the Jefit app and it'll give me estimates of time spent lifting, resting and wasted (but things things like racking weights, moving the bar, etc counts as wasted). My last good lifting session was 45 minutes long, only 8 was actually…

Are you measuring your thighs? Excessive cardio will not cause muscle growth.

Red flags all over the place on this one. There are some serious control issues here that have nothing to do with your weight. I'd suggest marriage counseling immediately.
-
I'm assuming you don't want to break up over a minor issue, and that it really IS a minor issue and not a symptom of a general controlling attitude or disrespect of your opinions and desires. Sit down when you are both in a good mood and talk it out. Tell him it's important to you that he does NOT comment on your eating or…

Actually carbs are the easiest for ALL people to burn, not just extreme athletes. If you would like some real information on the subject read this: https://www.bodyrecomposition.com/nutrition/nutrient-intake-nutrient-storage-and-nutrient-oxidation.html/

This is a great article; https://www.romper.com/p/9-body-positive-terms-you-need-to-teach-your-daughter-5401 Even she really is at an unhealthy weight, start to be more active (together could be fun), add in fruits and veggies, talk to her about health and fitness (not about weight). Encourage her to really think about if…

And 2 glasses of wine, which if it was red, and a big pour could easily be > 150 calories each.

Oh! Oh! I've been dying to use this.

This. I'm 5'8" and eat at 1800 to 2000 to lose a half pound a week.

This is the best article on "toning" I've seen: https://www.aworkoutroutine.com/muscle-tone/

I step backward. A weight lifting coach in college told me it's better for the knees.
-
This is good, especially when people are pretty far from their hypothetical goal weight. No reason to obsess about it. I do have a goal weight but it's based on where I've been previously.
-
I go by weekly average. 1500 average for a male of your size and body fat is WAY too low. I'd go at least 2000. Set your goal to 0.5lbs per week.
-
Sounds expensive. How many times a week are we talking about? Ask him to limit it to once a week. Y'all are grown ups now.
-
I am 160lbs with a 2500 TDEE.
-
2500 and 160lbs sounds reasonable.

Total is how many calories you eat. Net is that number subtract your exercise calories. Different people have different goals. MFP is generally designed to focus on net, but some people prefer to focus on total.

Look into the DASH diet. You'll need to make your own sauces, for things like pasta, salad dressing or salsa. Meat is easy to do low sodium. Here are some helpful blogs: http://www.theunsaltytraveler.com/ https://www.hackingsalt.com/

If you want ice cream, fit it into your calories, go to the ice cream shop, get a cone and leave. Buy one chocolate bar at a time. Single servings make it easier.

Yup. This. It sucks but it is what it is.

I use the "Wine - Table, red" entry from the database. It tells me 6 oz is 127 calories.

Had you been working out as often prior? Muscle repair = water retention.

Currently I either work out at home, or outside (walking or bike riding). I have a full cage and Olympic weight set, plus a stair climber and a trainer for my bike. Before I bought the cage I went to a gym. I love working out in my pajamas, and not having to waist time driving or changing clothes. It's been much easier to…

I can't eat chicory root, or any sugar alcohols without gastrointestinal issues, and I know many people are the same. I wouldn't be surprised if that bar had both.
-
I often do a meat, a carb side and a veggie side. Then I either skip the carb side, or have a small, measured portion. I also find my kids will eat raw veggies more than cooked so we often have raw baby carrots, sugar snap peas, baby sweet peppers or cucumber slices with dinner.

This happens with a lot of things from my childhood that I remember as being awesome. It's sad.
