  • I'd love to join you all. I did level 1 day 4 yesterday and plan on doing day 5 today. So far it has been pretty good. I really need to work on those pushups! I need to get past doing the modified ones. I'm looking forward to reading how everyone is doing with it!
  • I agree with the idea of roasting veggies. Asparagus and broccoli taste delicious roasted. I also agree with garlic..and maybe some lemon juice. I bake my tomatoes with some pepper and basil on top. Have you tried kale? You bake it in the oven with some olive oil (I use the spray) and some pepper/salt/garlic. Google kale…

  • I'm on Level 1 Day 4 and the static lunge/bicep curl as well as the side lunge/hand raises just kill me!! I'm also modifying the push up still. I hope in a few days I will see improvement in the moves I'm finding the hardest.
  • I did 30 Day Shred Level 1 Day 4 this morning followed by 40 minutes of cardio with some weights. It was my first time waking up early to workout (6:15am) before work and it felt amazing!
  • No More Trouble Zones is great! Jillian Michaels recommends doing it 5 days a week but I didn't follow that. I mixed it in with the gym and only did it a few days a week. It takes about 50 minutes each time. I LOVE the ab moves in it. You really feel it working!
  • Okay my DVD finally arrived Friday and I started right away so I am now on level 1 day 4 as of this morning. On Saturday I went to the gym first and did cardio and did the 30DS afterwards.   • This sounds like a good plan! For some reason I have it in my head that I have to do it everyday for 30 days straight. I think mixing it up with cardio & a rest day will give great results. Good luck with level 2!!
  • I go to the gym 5-6 days a week. I either do the elliptical for 45-55 minutes or go for a 3 mile run. I am also doing Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones about 3 days a week. Looking to improve and start using heavier weights for that. On Sat & Sun I will do NMTZ as well as the gym.
  • Shaken iced green tea unsweetened - mmm! Iced or hot nonfat lattes with no sugar or flavor. This takes some getting used (may be bitter or bland if you are used to sugary Starbucks drinks) but once you do it's a very healthy option.
  • Is anyone doing anything in addition to the 30 Day Shred? I'm thinking of also doing the elliptical or treadmill 30-45 min about 4-5 days a week. If you were to do this would you do the 30DS and then do cardio or do cardio first and then do the 30DS?
