Advice? Don't just monitor your weight. Take your measurements - waist, hips etc 5lbs may look like a small number but have you seen what 5 lbs looks like? I get motivated by watching my measurements shrink.

Ditto for getting yourself a food scale. You won't need to use it for ever but it's a great educational tool to help you recognize what a portion actually looks like for different foods. Also look at the types of food you're eating - sure your diary might say you had only 20g carbs but what made up the 20g? vegetables or…
