  • Ahhhh such a good post! My net is usually under 1,200, my body actually only loses that way (for now).

  • 21! My starting weight was 180 and my ultimate goal weight is 135 ish. I don't think I've ever been under 150 at my adult height. I don't remember the last time I was under 155, and I just hit 154 this morning!
  • Hey guys! I'm wicked pumped! I like the team name too - for Mission Slimpossible! Super cute! I'm setting a five pound loss for my August goal. That will put me at 149 and I will be officially at a "healthy" BMI!
  • So far it has taken me 11 months to lose the 26 pounds. IF I worked harder it could have come off a bit faster. I had a 5-6 month plateau haha, but that was mostly my fault. I started at 180 and now I am down to 154!
  • MAN it is a little tricky haha. I'll be a senior next year, and I've done a lot of different things to lose weight in college. If your school has a gym, PLEASE take advantage of it, and never lie to yourself that you are too tired, it's too cold to walk to, or you don't have the time. Those were all my excuses! Also, if…
  • I'm a Biology major, hence the Bio. Queen because... I am THAT good at biology hahaha. That and I want a tiara.
  • Oh yeah, I can go up 5 pounds or so too. I ONLY weigh myself in the morning for this reason. It's like if I have to go to the doc's and I weigh 5 ish pounds (or more due to clothes) and I'm like pfffft I know better haha.
  • Day 16 L2 done! Plank things are getting a littttttle easier... not by much though. I'm down 6 pounds though since starting!!!
  • Day 6 of Level 2 done today! The planks are getting a little easier... not by much though! I also can't do double crunches... I try but they don't happen haha. Keep going everyone! I've weighed in again today, lost another pound - 5 in total! The scale actually said 153.7 this morning, but I'm still nervous to call it at…
  • My current weight is 155, and my goal weight by September 1st is 150! Then I won't be overweight anymore!
  • Hi! I wasn't part of the original group, but I LOVE HP, grew up with the whole thing. Is it alright if I join?
  • This sounds great! I'll do it - stick me on any team!
  • I actually don't log my Vitamin Water Zero. I have found that it hasn't affected my weight loss, and I do drink loads of water a day. But in theory I should probably log it, but I would log it as food if I did.
  • That's great! I wish I had the opportunity to grow my own veggies. That is pretty much what eating clean is - eating foods when they are as "natural" and "raw" as possible. I'm glad you are feeling inspired! It's the way to be! Keep experimenting, and you'll find it!
  • It's such a pain! I know that some major poundage is melting off, and it will slow down pretty soon (hopefully after I get to 150!). I've always noticed that I lose when I eat a net of 1,000-1,200, so I think switching up the exercise works really well. I think doing the Shred has done wonders for me - especially since I…
  • I make my own smoothie for either breakfast or lunch! It has... 1 banana 3 strawberries 1 kiwi (if I have them) 3/4 cup milk 3/4 cup vitamin water zero 3 ice cubes 6 oz vanilla chobani yogurt It really helps me to get my protein in
  • Hey! I've been SUPing too this summer - it's awesome! It is a pretty good core and arm workout! I would log it as kayaking/canoeing, but I would say you'd get a little more out of it due to standing up. Although, I think I burn more trying to get it to the shore than actually rowing! hahaha those things are heavy.
  • This works the BEST for me. The craving goes away, I'm fully, and happy!
  • Day 15 Level 2 done! I'm pumped that I can finally do all of the plank poses Natalie style without taking any breaks. I switched to 1.5 weights for the v-raises because my arms would fall off otherwise. But WOAH those planks kill my shoulders. Halfway done today!!!
  • Made it through D4 L2 yesterday... on to D5 today. BUT I'm really pumped because I was able to do all of the plank jacks and the plank/ab/twist thing at the end of circuit three. Holla!
  • I really really like it. Before I only ever did cardio and didn't always push myself THAT hard, I would go for time rather than intensity. I'm on day 5 of level 2 and so far I have lost 5 pounds (**although, I also work at a barn 5 days a week). It busted me out of my plateau and keeps me honest about strength training! I…

  • Hi there! I am doing is straight for the 30 days. But like others have said, it's best to listen to your body. I keep doing it 1) because I don't have any injuries or feel really tired and 2) because it helps me not to fall of the JM wagon!
  • Hi there! All of the pictures in my profile are 160 ish I believe (and I am 5'5")... I just recently dropped down to 155 and I don't have any pictures yet. However, it IS all about how you carry your weight, and more importantly, how you feel at that weight!
  • L2 D3 for me! Plank moves definitely still kill my shoulders, Jillian just doesn't let them have a two second rest! So far I've dropped about 5 pounds, my body has finally broken it's plateau. I don't expect the current weight loss rate to continue, but it is moving the right direction!
  • Thanks guys! I figured it was probably water weight that my body was holding on to while it was getting used to the new exercise. I'm just so glad to see it moving!
  • Hi! I'll be a senior next year, and I've had some good and bad experiences with weight loss in college: Freshman year - I ended up losing about 15-20 pounds, but it was before I knew anything about healthy weight loss. I was going to the gym almost every day but only eating 800 calories. Bad idea, and so unhealthy! Then I…
  • I had one for 4 months... floating around 160 (25 pounds from my goal). I broke it starting Jillian Michaels, eating 98% clean, reducing the amount of time I go out to eat, and kicking the protein up a bit. I think its important to play around with different parts of your life style to see which ones can help break your…
  • Hello! Today was D2 of L2, and I'm so happy that I am least not as sore as I was after D1 L1! The plank moves are killer, and I had to switch from 5 lb weights to 1.5 lb weights for the third circuit of strength. I'm really starting to feel the difference though!
  • Right now it is the only exercise I do BUT that is only because I am working at a barn for 4-6 hours a day, 5 days a week. I get enough of a workout there since I am always moving! However, once that ends (summer job) I will kick the cardio back up. I plan on doing the 30 day shred even after the 30 days are up. Currently…
  • Jillian Michaels is the maker (and trainer) in the videos. It is a set of three work outs at levels 1, 2, and 3. You spend 10 days on each, without skipping any days (unless you have injury). The workouts are great because they are only 20 minutes long (although with warm up and cool down its about 30 minutes). Jillian…
