I stuck to a healthy diet and exercise plan for over six weeks before the scales moved, but when they did it was a nice drop (2-5lb) per week. Stick at it and don't get disheartened. Your body needs time to catch up, it might be a week or a month but if you're eating well and exercising efficiently you will lose weight.…

Mine's still there too hun, although it is smaller than it was three months ago. The thing is, until your body fat percentage has gone way down, it's still going to be there. Once you're at a 'normal' or healthy weight, it seems to be easier to target certain areas...arms, legs, abs etc to work on. But the whole time you…

My man proposed on Christmas Eve...we have always exchanged our presents to each other on Christmas Eve due to always being so busy on the big day. We exchanged presents and I still had one left. We were both in our pyjamas (him in his He-Man, Masters of the Universe ones...irrelevant, but always makes me laugh, he's…

I used to HATE skimmed milk - I've always had semi-skimmed (or half-fat, if you're American)...skimmed just seemed really watery . Now I have skimmed milk with everything. Light mayo, Diet Coke, half fat cheese...anything that was the 'light' version of a 'normal' food! Now everything I eat is as light as possible lol.…

6.2% in 7 weeks. Another 10lb and I'll be at 10%. My goal is a total of 32% lost in the next 18 months.

Here are my 'before' pictures. I'm 25, my current weight is 242lb, I'm 5'10 and a mother of a six month old baby girl.

I've just invested in an exercise mat and small hand weights (I only had kettlebell weights before) to do this! Waiting on my new sports bra to arrive, then I'm ready to go...may sound like an excuse but I need it or I'll knock myself out doing jumping jacks haha! Can't wait to get started, I've been hearing (and seeing)…

Hey from the UK! Mum of a six month old baby girl, and eleven tatts and counting over here XD Definitely want more (tattoos AND kids!)...got around 70lb to lose & when I make it, I'm totally getting a pirate ship inked on my ribcage! Feel free to add me, I love supporting & motivating friends on here as long as they return…

I'm a little shy of 5'10 and am currently 250. My first goal is to hit the 'healthy' range, around 175. My dream weight would be 155, although don't know whether I'd look healthy or not as I carry my weight different to most girls. I can dream though! :)))

Bless him, Dave keeps saying he'll eat whatever I put in front of him but he has a fast metabolism - it's bad enough that I won't allow any snack or junk foods WHATSOEVER in the house, I'm not about to feed him salad too! He's a man, he needs meat lol XD Does drive me a bit crazy though...like the other night, when he had…

I've been doing a little reading-up on the C25K as well, sounds like a really good idea. The only problem is, I've only just started out on the treadmill and I'm still really nervous - I have a total phobia of falling off it and hurting myself - so the idea of running on it scares me! Running outside isn't really possible…

Every time I talk about my goals for losing weight, he says he'll support me 100% as long as I don't lose my bum lol. He has a teeny tiny bum so the least I can do is keep mine so he has one to look at! XD I've been the smaller one in relationships in the past before, and that was strange for me to have a guy who was…

Hahahaha like a turtle shell - that made me lol! :)))

Haha I know the feeling. All my fiancé has to do is spend a day helping out in the warehouse at his job (he's usually a salesman) and he comes home with a six pack. It's so unfair! Especially seeing as he can ALWAYS out-eat me, his appetite is bottomless! His metabolism just laughs in the face of anything you throw at it…

Hey Kay You know I've been drinking Slim Fast shakes as a meal replacement for one meal a day for about a fortnight now. I've had no side effects whatsoever, I find them filling and a shake is an easy quick breakfast which is convenient as I'm usually running around after baby first thing in the morning. I'm not following…

Hi Vica I'm getting married October 2013, and am terrified of being a plus size bride! I have always been on the chunky side, but gained a tonne of weight when I was pregnant with my little girl last year. Now I've got my butt in gear, am going to the gym three times a week and am on a strict calorie controlled diet. My…

So glad to read there are other people with similar experiences! I used to be well and truly addicted to energy drinks - it was all I drank! When I fell pregnant last year I gave them up cold turkey because of the caffeine (which was horrible because I couldn't even have coffee or regular Coke either!) but once my daughter…

Hi I know exactly how you feel. I have been dieting and exercising for weeks and weeks now, and saw NO change in the scales. I was getting so frustrated I even asked my Doctor if I could go on medication to kick-start my weight loss. Everyone told me the same things they've said to you and I didn't believe any of it and…
