I went into Victoria Secrets to buy a cute HOODIE with my son (4yo) and my daughter (about 6mo at the time) and all the sudden I hear from across the strore (in the best and loudest "look how smart I am mom" 4yo boys voice) "HAHAHA LOOK MOMMY, THESE ARE FOR BOOBIES!" only to look over and see my son waving around a bright…

I don't understand why people have to/want to hurt people they have never even met! I mean, geez, if you want to off yourself, thats your prerogative, but don't take innocent people with you! Thankfully this douche did not off himself, so hopefully justice will be served well!!

My four year old has finally mastered the xbox controller (being able to move a character and the camera at the same time was his struggle, lol.) So I mostly play Toy Story 3 right now, lol. (or Elmo's Once upon a Monster on the kinect, which is a least a little bit of a work out for me!)

Thanks for the responses everyone! I think I will have them checked just to make sure everything is normal with them and maybe look into some supplements. Anyone know what a Dr might do to check them? P.S. I don't like those words, they make me feel too OLD!! Lol jk 8-)

5'3 here, I have a 4yo and an 11month old. Finally lost my baby weight...I think the next 10 are part of my freshman 15, lol. I have not done much with weights, I mostly do walking and ab/butt/thigh routines. I didn't really take any before pics, although I wish I had, I can't really see a differnce in my body, but others…

I don't count the everyday picking up that I do, I usually add heavy cleaning when I deep clean a room, (cleaning out closets, moving stuff so I can vaccum around furniture, scrubbing tubs/toilets etc), I add usually moderate cleaning if I do SEVERAL loads of laundry on the same day, since I am hauling stuff up and down…

I work overnights too, I have my diary set up with the meals Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner - Work(overnights) and Snacks. I put anything that I eat at work on the previous day (even though it is after midnight). I have a hard time actually eating breakfast when I get up I end up just eating lunch and dinner type meals (which…

I don't have one, but have thought about getting something like this...here is a nice video comparing the Fuel Band to the fitbit...I personally think the fitbit looks better, but I have heard of some of them not lasting long...i like the idea of wearing the Nike on your arm vs clipping it on your clothes though!…

This was my thinking as well

Sometimes when my daughter was too hungry/frustrated and milk wasn't coming fast enough, I would give her like a 2oz bottle, then breastfeed her. She would get something in her tummy quickly (from the bottle) and then she would be ok with the slower flow of breastfeeding. I think sometimes they just think they are sooo…

I don't really know how accurate this is, maybe someone with a HRM can try it an see how it compares, but here is a formula you could try. http://thecaloriecounter.net/how-to-calculate-calories-burned-from-heart-rate/

Yea I haven't gotten rid of anybody yet, but it is getting to the point that I log on and I see messages left and right about people not logging in, I want to be there to support them if they come back, but it also isn't very motivating for me to see a bunch of people not logging in. Most of them are people that were new…

Looking at your diary, it doesn't look like you are neting that low, but you do have quite a few left over calories, you want to at least come close to your 1780 that MFP picked for you. If you are exercising 1000 calories each day then you would want to actually consume about 2780.

I cut out soda too when I joined the site. Now I drink Minute Maid LIGHT Lemonade (5 calories a can) and there are a lot of restaurants that serve it too (since that is where I find it the hardest to find something to drink that doesn't have as many calories as the meal)!

You can add it to your food diary (i think it is just listed as Breastfeeding) and it will give you an extra 500 calories a day...I personally made an exercise for it. I read online that each ounce of milk averages 20 caloires burnt. So I have figured that my 9mo usually gets about 6 ounces a feeding. So in the custom…

I would not have a problem with it as long as you did not have a problem with my kids playing and expect them to stay away while you worked...my son is 4 so no monkey bars for him yet, but if he was old enough I'm sure that he would want to go across them every now and then. If you were fine with that I wouldn't have a…
