I like your style.

Just want to give a +1 to the bento idea: I don't see it mentioned on here all that often, but it's a great way to size out your portions and add some variety to your meals. Plus, you can pack it ahead of time and keep it in the fridge, meaning that you can save even MORE time in the morning by grabbing it and not having…

You should try infusing your own with vodka, diet sprite/7-Up, and some of those 0 calorie drink flavor thingies (MIO comes to mind). If it's really 15% alcohol, you could mix up your own with a couple shots and have a larger bottle that lasts you all night for less calories. Maybe there's a reason why I stopped drinking...

I eat 3 hard boiled eggs a day -- one when I get up to start my metabolism going and get me ready to hop on my bike, and two after my workout. I love 'em. I sure hope they don't become bad for us again anytime soon, LOL. It seems like every 6 months doctors change their minds. As long as I keep eating healthy stuff (on a…

Has anyone tried using almond flour instead of peanut flour a la PB2? My daughter has a peanut allergy, so there's no peanuts in the house, but if almond flour is a good flavor/protein booster, I may have to give that a try!

We've all been there. Eating broccoli is the important part! Getting it on your plate is half the battle, so keep it up!!

If you're drinking sugary drinks -- definitely! I lost about 10 lbs in high school switching from Regular to Diet sodas, and never looked back. Coke Zero is where it's AT! If you like Raspberry Iced Tea, I'd also recommend you make it yourself instead of buying the Lipton brand -- its tastier, and you can use a lot less…

I'm literally doing exactly what this site tells me to do in terms of my intake. I also eat back my calories when I'm hungry or when I go out to eat. I don't get what's with all this resistance I'm getting here -- I wasn't even exercising regularly until about 3.5 months ago. With a resting BMR of 1800, I can't eat 2k…

Pretty much -- 1790 according to MFP. Work a desk job, so "sedentary" is me. As for "doing it wrong," it's working just fine for me. I eat mostly whole foods, fruit, eggs, and lean protein, and that's helped me drop about 30 lbs this year. Do what works for you, I'm just answering the OP's question in regards to what's…

Do whatever works for you guys, this seems to work out for me. I eat my recommended 1350 a day and burn between 250-300 on the days when I work out. I always eat around 1350, and when I go out to eat, I generally eat back a chunk of my exercise calories. Likewise, If I'm hungry between meals, I eat! The main difference for…

To the original poster, I just want to add (apropos of nothing) that it's a really good idea to measure out stuff like this with a food scale, because trying to guesstimate with a measuring cup isn't very accurate. And if you're like me, there's hardly 3 servings in one of these (prepared) boxes...

Don't eat them back. If you're hungry, use them as a cushion when you can't make it to your next meal. But all the machines overestimate your burned calories, so I do what I can do always stick around my actual calories in, even when i burn 3-400 a day through exercise. If you're trying to bulk up, it's a different story.

One thing I would say is that you can easily shave off a couple hundred calories from dinner if you make a couple healthy substitutions (veggies instead of bread, less butter or cheese, you get the idea), which could allow you to enjoy whatever snacks that you WANT to have. That way you don't have to force yourself to eat…

This is exactly why I try to not eat back my calories -- I log what the machine says, but take it with a huge grain of salt. I may not know how many calories I burned accurately, but I DO know I got my heart rate up for 30 mins and did some weight lifting afterwards, and that's good enough for me.

I love soaking steel cut oats in almond milk with fresh (or frozen) fruits and veggies over night when I want something hearty in the morning. Otherwise, those Belvita breakfast biscuits are good for when you need to eat something but aren't necessarily hungry, and hard-boiled eggs for a protein-packed followup for later.…

If you want to work on adjusting your taste, you can try moving down to Half and Half and from there into some other creamers. Just a thought!

Spread your snacks out so you don't have to wonder if you're hungry or not, just get to the next hour (or whenever) you want to have your next snack. I've started eating a slightly larger breakfast spread out from 6am-12pm, and it helps me lunch later and crave other things outside of my diet less. Also, a whole honeydew…

You're making a lot of healthy changes, and your body is rewarding you for it! Keep it up! Basketball is great exercise, and I'd bet that you're eating a ton less calories than you used to. It won't drop this fast forever, but don't be worried about it. I don't eat back my calories either, but I also don't sweat it if I go…

Just had an almond butter and concord grape jelly sandwich on white bread for lunch -- came out to be 320 calories. Was it delicious? You bet! Could I have been fuller with different choices? Sure! But: do I regret it, or am I beating myself up about it? Hell no. I've been waiting to try this jelly all week :) As long as I…

You can eat a mess of fish, some grilled chicken, tuna, hummus, and some veggies. Make a salad, just eat meat, have some fruits. Depending on how many hours you have left in the day, I'd try and space out a few small snack-y meals with some protein and veggies and lots of water until you can pass out and do it again :) Or…

Let me try and give a reasonable answer here... Firstly: just because you're on a diet/watching what you eat doesn't mean you can never eat chocolate chips or ice cream again. The thing is that you HAVE to start WATCHING (and weighing) what you eat. Eat an actual serving of the thing you love, and log it. If you end up…

If you keep them in the shell, I don't have any problem eating them up to 5-7 days afterwards. I'll usually make some up Friday or Saturday and use them throughout the week. A little salt and pepper or hot sauce = MMM! I eat a ton of fruit, which helps me keep the sugar cravings at bay. Not all the time, but sometimes :)

What about some kind of hearty oatmeal + hard boiled eggs? I like to take ~1/3 cup steel cut oats, 2/3 cup original (NOT unsweetened) almond milk, and add in a diced peach or some frozen fruits. Overnight, it breaks down and hydrates the oats a bit, and the fruit helps sweeten it along with the almond milk. I either do…

Maybe it's just me, but I can never tell what shape a woman is from the front. Curves are too misleading.

Honestly, being Vegetarian means that you have to eat sides a lot more often than you rightfully should. You've already got an excuse in your back pocket should you need it! I personally don't think there's anything wrong with eating just a side or an appetizer -- more often than not, an appetizer is practically a full…

I'm in no position to tell you what you should and shouldn't take, but if this kind of anxiety is something you deal with on a daily basis, you should maybe talk to a doctor about it to get something to help you when you get that feeling in your gut that won't go away. If it's not, then you're probably like me -- I JUST…

Thanks everyone! Will give these a look-see when I get home!

Losing about half of your total weight after 1 month is a great accomplishment, you have to be proud of that! Plus, when you consider that the only calories you could actually burn for the first couple weeks after everything you went through were from breast feeding, the other 20 pounds should fall off if you keep moving…

Wow, that actually sounds surprisingly good! Very refreshing, and tito's is a little smoother than the cheap stuff, so this would be a great combo. I also really like vodka+diet with lemon -- far better than plain vodka and diet. Could work on the ice with the good stuff, probably.

Preeeety sure I could eat all 1350 of my calories in wings alone....
