Completely disagree. I am a chronic low carb eater, couple of times a week in ketosis to stay ripped, and I'm not hungry even with extensive cardio and weight lifting. If you eat enough protein, your body will use it for energy instead of carbs, which turns into sugar and then into fat
-
You need to try to eat more protein and less carbs. The protein will make you feel fool, where low carbs will not spike your insulin levels. If you eat vegetables, try to stick with green vegetables, they are the healthiest and don't have no starch, which spikes insulin again. Carrots are not too recommend if you have…

Insanity is definitely not a short cut. It is HIIT training, maybe military style, and this is always hard on your joints,as any high impact training would be. That's why it is so important to know how to do it correctly. I am on 2nd round, and I do it jointly with p90x and love both of these routines

I have asthma and allergies, taking maintaince medication and rescue inhaler. I'm working out hard on daily basis, and if I do a hard cardio, I have to take my inhaler before I start. And it works. Sometimes my asthma is better sometimes worse, but I have a huge determination and I always complete my workouts. I did not…

I cannot tell you exact ratio on macros. But what worked for me was low carb- it has to be under 100 g a day, and high protein- at least a gram per body weight rather then lean body mass. I am very active, working out on daily basis at least an hour, most if the time 2, and got very used to low carbs. Actually, I have tons…
-
Absolutely right. You have to drop bf all over, and eat low carb high protein, hat will get you the definition you desire
-
I think you need to pick one from what worked for you and stick to it. You said low carb worked, and then you gained it back. I'm a low carber and am ultra lean. Cannot even imagine eat high carbs as in my previous life, lol. It gets me bloated and not feeling well, with low energy. The answer to what ever you do is…
-
I have the same problem. Am very lean, trying to gain muscle while maintaining low BF. I really struggle with it. Am afraid to leave out cardio or get higher on carbs, otherwise i get all puffy and bloated. I'm very good on losing weight, but not as good in gaining it the way i would like to :-/
-
I'm 5'6" and weigh 117 pounds. Am not bony at all, would say very muscular and lean. My pictures would show that to you. I was 136 pounds after my 6th child was born, and I looked overweight, for my standard anyways
-
^^^^ LOL l was thinking the same thing
-
^^^ definitely agree. Unless you are very very petite. But even then, there is no way you can gain on 1200 cal a day
-
I am not a member of a gym either, i have 6 kids. I love p90x and insanity. My youngest is 8 months and if she doesn't cooperate with me, then i put her in belly bag and am walking the stairs up and down for an hour
-
I'm sure carbs will not make you fat, but if you want muscle definition, you BF has to be low and the easiest way to accomplish that is with low carb high protein diet
-
I burn by turbo kick barely 380 cals, waering HRM. The most burns I have is by insanity HIIT workouts, which are around 55 min, but even then I burn around 500 cals. But, I combine 2 workouts a day to get me my burn around 700 - 1000 cals
-
Wow. Do you work out? Cuz I drink around a gallon a day, not cuz i like it that much, but if I don't, I show signs of dehydration
-
In that case you are not drinking enough water to help your kidneys to process. For kidneys to be effected you would have to eat very very high protein on daily basis
-
Yes, but they are talking about very very high protein intake for kidneys to be effected. I am 115 pounds, eating around 130-180 g of protein a day , taking healthy fats and low carbs and my body is ultra lean, strong, no problems with stool or anything else and if you look at my pictures, weight I loss is not water…
-
Protein will regulate you. Who ever told you to stop was an idiot. :-D
-
Love it :drinker:
-
Very good point LMFAO
-
I didn't find any yet. They have bunch with decent protein, like Healthy Chef I'm buying in Costco, but they have 55g of carbs, so i usually don't eat it. It is very hard to find low carb things, I found tortillas from la tortilla factory, you can fill it up with chicken, tuna, salad or what ever, and you have a meal.

Losing a pound a week is very healthy weight loss. People they lose so much in the first month are most of the time severely obese and most of the weight they lose is a water weight. I never lost more pound a week, and am not gaining it back either. The closer you get to your goal, the slower the progress will be.
-
Definitely affective, works for me. Just get different sizes of dumbbells, get pull up bar for pull ups, great for back and arms, do push ups, great for chest and arms.
-
Nope. Have to have my morning coffee, and sometimes one cup in the afternoon. Don't see how it can be that bad for me. :-D
-
38 babeeee and rocking it. Lol
-
Well, I'm done losing my baby weight, my youngest is 7 months now, but I'm kind of expert in it, due to having 6 children. Lol. Would love to support you
-
That what it said to me. Lol
-
I have less BF then 95 % women in my country and les then 82% women globally. They compare me with women in Ethiopia, yaikes. :-D
-
Don't worry, as soon as you lose your baby weight, you will drop at least 10 years as well. I have 6 kids, so sometimes i feel like 50 years, even though I don't look it. Lol
-
Younger. I'm 38 and people think I'm end of 20nies
