Everybody associates slim and lean figure with young age. You fit in cuter clothes, look sexier. Nobody believes me that I'm 37 with 6 kids, even though I might have more expressions wrinkles in my face then if I would have 50 pounds more. And most importantly, you will feel younger, and isn't it what is most important?

You should eat back the calories you burned by working out, or at least almost. These calculators are figuring deficit already. You can buy whey protein isolate from body fortress in walmart for 15 bucks, they have a lots of flavors and you mix it with water or milk and best time to use is after work out cause it also has l- carnine and other stuff which is critical for muscle recovery. Good luck

If you mix it with a water for a smaller calorie intake, is fine. I'm drinking protein shakes at least 2x a day,, but i'm also working out a lot and I'm losing weight, not gaining. It comes down to carbs, how many you take a day, if you lose our gain, not on protein. Protein is important to maintain your muscle mass

You can see the progress. Great job. Don't give up

Oatmeal is very packed with calories, and those packets include sugar, like everybody else pointed out. I'm eating old fashioned quick oats with a teaspoon of peanut butter. Works perfect

From what i could see on your diary, you saying to much sodium, which retaines water, and way too little protein. You should eat almost a gram of protein for each pound of your weight, to keep your muscles. Protein is hard to digest, that means body is burning even more calories to digest it, plus if you gain on muscle…

You need to get a heart rate monitor and then you can calculate the calories based on your average heart rate and the time you worked out
