It's also harder to run outside as you have to work against wind resistance and you don't have a belt helping to pull your feet backwards. Those forces add up over time, believe me! Personally I find running outside gives me a sense of freedom that I don't get on a treadmill; being able to slow down, speed up or stop…

Saint Brendan managed it from Ireland in 545 AD, or there and abouts. And that was how there was an Irish bar there ready to receive the thirsty vikings...

Map out an outdoor running route (using MapMyRun or similar), run it at your normal tempo & time yourself. Divide your time by your distance & you'll get a pretty clear idea of what kind of pace you've been running at. Bear in mind it's easier to run on a treadmill as there's no wind resistance to push against & the belt…

Used to work in film & tv, so I've met tons of actors, and some singers and the like. My favorites would have to be Angela Lansbury & Peter O'Toole.

I drink most weekends. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot, sometimes not at all. As long as you track it & work it into your calories it's fine. But try to avoid eating during or after drinking, as it affects the way you metabolize food.

The knight gave the dragon plain water, knowing that he'd drink from the seventh well to cure himself. He also drank from the 1st well in advance so the dragon's water from the 7th well cured him.

Hi OP, your diary indicates a lot of sodium day to day, try to keep this below your daily target for a week or two & that may have an impact. You've got a few very high calorie burn days, but I'd recommend eating back only about half of your calorie burn as this will allow for any differences between calculation & actual…

Hey, I'm a pescetarian, with an open diary. I've naturally reduced bread & processed grains in my diet, and tend to get my protein from fish, whey, eggs, beans/pulses & meat substitutes (Quorn, etc.) Feel free to add me if you'd like, I'm active on here almost every day.

I do like me some good stats & graphs, and that right there is some nice stats & graphs work. Thanks for taking the time & effort!

He didn't dump you because you were too fat, he did it because he's a grade A sociopath. Forget this controlling abusive *kitten*-hat and move on with your life. He doesn't deserve another thought or second of your time.

OP, serious, constructive question: where in your day did the run fit in? Before the muffins?

Some great, solid info here: Most, you probably know, but some of the baselines should be useful in figuring out a healthy day to day plan to ensure you keep up your performance and endurance, that your body can repair itself, and you can cut down the weight.

OK, my 2 cents Ashley. If the weight loss goal, which you said yourself is arbitrary, was absent or reduced, none of this would have happened. Yes, there were over-reactions all over the place, but after seeing some of the things posted up in here in the last few months seeing someone who seemingly has entirely unrealistic…

Runtastic here too. Try a few out, find one that suits your needs best. Pretty much all of them are free or have free versions.

Irish or Scottish single malt, preferably 10 years+ FTW. Haven't ever had a bourbon or a blend that would persuade me otherwise.
