No arrogance here, many people run into difficulty in accurately estimating calorie burns. You didn't include details of HRMs or weighted vest running when you posted originally, so I asked a question. Asking questions in order to help solve an issue for someone on a bulletin board is the helpful end of these forums, don't…

You should be eating back your excess exercise calories, but how are you calculating them? 1200+ seems very high.

If they're in with everything else they'll mostly just flow around the blades. I'd recommend doing them first in the bullet, then adding everything else & going again.

Bear in mind that if the seeds are whole, and you're drinking them, a fair proportion of them will pass through your system without being digested. You could consider milled seeds, or milling them yourself before adding them.

There is no way to spot-lose body fat. Just keep it up with your diet & exercise if you're happy with them! http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants

You can't direct fat loss to a specific part of the body, unfortunately, but work on healthy weight loss & it will come off eventually. Here's a great starting point: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants

As per the USDA website red lentils are about 3.6 kcal per gram, which matches your first 2 entries by weight. The third one is likely just wrong, or for cooked rather than raw lentils. The moral of the story is, always go by weight.

You just enter it into your food diary, just look up fitbit in the food database.
-
I've always found my fitbit burn estimates to be high, so I adjust half of the daily burn back by putting a 'fitbit adjust' entry into my food logs (it's in the database already). That gives a healthy margin of error.
-
That's a busy schedule! You mentioned trying to lose weight/fat, are you currently aiming to be in a calorie deficit, and if so, by how much? It's a challenge to try and get stronger & lose weight simultaneously. Your food choices looks pretty solid though.

Hi, I'm a pescatarian too. I'd suggest changing your macros to a 40% carb, 30% fat & 30% protein split, assuming you're planning on exercising, as carbs will help fuel your sessions. Your food choices are pretty healthy, but you'd be advised to put some more, and varied, veggies in over the course of the day to ensure you…

I've found that my Fitbit far overestimates my calories burnt. I found a Fitbit entry in the food database & put in half my fitbit calories burnt as an adjustment, but even that may not be sufficient. Try and find a ratio that works for you.

Sounds like it could be a trapped nerve in the shoulder. You'd be best off going to a reputable physio.

Pick a day to do your long slow run, increase the distance by no more than 10% per week, and run it at a little less than your normal pace.

If you want to help along your water weight loss then make sure to stay very well hydrated & minimise your salt intake, which can make the retention worse. Other than that keep doing what you're doing, and try to have patience. It's all in your current avatar!

You only started a week or two ago? Give your body some time to get used to the exercise routine. Keep tracking everything & with a sensible calorie deficit it'll start coming off soon enough. Anyway, to me personally losing the inches is far more important than a change on a scale.

I'm a pescetarian but I know how difficult it can be to hit your protein targets with a restricted diet, and protein is great for keeping you fuller for longer. Quorn is good, but I'd mostly hit the plainer ones (the plain fillets & 'chicken' pieces) as they've the best ratio of protein to other macros. I'd also recommend…

You just dodged a bullet. One more 'x' in the title & you'd be having a very different thread here! :o

Been bearded about 18 years now, I've only shaved it off twice in that time & immediately grown it back. Beard is always better than no beard. Just maintain it well, everything else is up to you. Oh, and this happens *all* the time.
