Bump to reread

I find it helps me to admit to myself what I just ate or drank (beer, how you test me!) I tend to end up looking at weeks at a time to assist how I picture how I am going rather than day by day. Yes, track day by day, but make it longer term that you think about things. The first step is admitting what you are doing to…

I'm in Tanzania - I guess when eating out or with inlaws - I assume LOTS of oil for the most part. The biggest thing is omming up with a strategy of how to eat less over all if you don't have much control over what you are being fed (i spend half my time at a mining camp in west africa and have no control over food…

Gee people really suck. What this thread shows to me is that I either have thick skin, poor hearing or a really crapy memory....either that or I come across as nuts enough for no one to say it to my face (I was a very aggressive/forceful child/teenager/adult, heck still am :). I've been overweight since about grade 5 and…

precisely - i go over all the time, but i go under all the time too - I find I can balance my weight now ok, but its only come with like 8months or so work, it takes time to find your mojo, but once you get there its worth it. Don't stress the small stuff, enjoy the big picture :D

This too - mfp under estimates protien.

Pretty much eat anything. There are different opinions about balanced mixes, low carb, high protien/fat, whole foods, clean eating (worlds vaguest term), paleo, vegan, intermittent fasting. Everyone will tell you different depending on their take on it. I think try different styles and see what works for you. There's…

yeah, that's what I am wondering whether I have a hope of getting through another 20kgs of loss without its looseness developing further - I swear I am supporting the compression undergrament industry and the manufacturers of bio oil single handedly with my purchases over the last 8 months. 10 stone man, you must be so…

Thanks for sharing your story too Phoenixgirl81. I know from my own expereince that its pretty sad when you fat nearly kills you. The combo of being an overwieght smoker on the pill with dehydration from malaria on a 18hr cross continent trip was really the full cause, but with all of those things, if you take the weight…

Congratulations on your loss! 10st is an awesome loss. Well done :D Question for you, do you have skin issues? I am 74lbs down now and starting to get some dodgy patches. Hence I am purposefully slowing my loss and trying to build muscle and moisturising the hell out of every inch of skin I have...is there anything you…

what a good eye you've got - thats the place alright, I was travelling through, hired a car and drove around the top coast of northern ireland and around west south to dublin eventually. I loved this part of the coast, so beautiful.
-
I hope I get back there too...its been a long time now and I am missing it. Thanks to everyone for the kudos, this whole sharing thing is fun. I always got a buzz reading other peoples sucess stories, but didn't expect to get one from showing my own :D thanks again

I am roughly the same height, 5"6' or 167cm - I had originally only planned on getting to 68kgs, to get just under the "healthy" bmi number, but decided to drop it further to one of my lowest historically comfortable weight places - I expect to be nothing but muscle if I do go onto 60kgs, i might pull up before this…

Try a different one, I don't think it matters if they are male or female but more whether they'll listen to what you're saying. If you end up wanting kids later you may wish you checked this out now. And if you don't feel statisfied with the answer you get this time see someone else. Judging by the roo in the shot I am…

^^^this for me too somewhere between 1 and 4 with 2 being normal and coffee and water in between. depends how I feel, sometimes I graze, sometimes I fast, none of it seems to negatively impact on my weightloss or muscle gain and definition.
-
Not always - i was loosing weight for a while and not noticing it in my clothes as much as my face and collar bones, but then when I got stuck between 80-85 kgs it was like a sudden "wooooosh" as the inches rushed off and i dropped from a size 16-18 to size 10-12/14 (top-bottom). I mean the clothes were getting looser and…

I love power yoga of any sort but hot power yoga especially - didn't know there were abs lurking underthere till I started. But if your looking for a cheaper option, check out stuff like bodyrocktv or other similar things on you tube - there…

31yo, in Perth, happy to have more friends. Have lost 29.5kgs so far, aiming to loose another 20ish or so. Check out my profile for more info, I am a frequent commenter if you want that sort of thing. I tend to do quite a bit of intermittent fasting, yoga, weights, cycling.

What a nice NSV, it's good when stuff like that sneaks up on you. I didn't realise how much I had lost till I bought new jeans, then it was like wow - I have a shape! I love this kinda NSv! Well done!

^ I do this too, with spicy peperoni, ketchup/tomato sauce and lite tasty cheese. This is my constant go to food for lazy fat/protien cravings. Mine work out to be about 320 calories and I am using high fibre muffins. I Love pizza :D
