I made a pretty drastic change when I went Paleo. I was so hungry for about two weeks. I don't remember any other symptoms. After the two weeks I stopped being hungry, I could sit next to a box of donuts and not need to eat one, and I had so much energy I was bouncing in my seat at work.

I love and hate the YogaX. But I found that if I can make it through the first 45 minutes, the second half is easy. It's all the Vinyasas that are hard. Keep up the good work.

I have lost 25 lbs counting calories. I had to up my calorie intake from what MFP told me to eat because I plateaued on 1350 calories. I started losing again at 1500-1700 calories a day. I have started eating Paleo, but it is because of food allergy problems, not weight loss. But I stopped counting calories when I started…

My daughter would love this too. Her two favorite shows in one!

One of the quotes I see on here drives me up the wall. Something like "Nothing tastes as good as skinny looks." This is a totally pro-ana quote. I'm pretty sure I saw it on the pro-ana websites when I was doing a research paper.

I just know that whenever I slip, I know I will feel awful. And at this point I am so tired of feeling awful that slipping is no longer an attractive option. Yes I love cheese, but I REALLY don't like the way it makes me feel. I miss tomato sauce, but I don't miss being sick for three days after eating it. I find it really…

I love that book!

Yeah, I read a news article about it the other day. Another fad for people who are too stupid to know better.

I have been eating Paleo 80% for a month. I think I have been allergic to milk and didn't know it. Also what I thought was a salicylate intollerance turned out to be only nightshades. I have had digestive issues since I was 11. Since starting Paleo I have not had any stomach aches from food unless I "cheat". Also my face…

When I started last month I was starving hungry for about two weeks. Then my body adjusted and I don't have the cravings or hunger anymore. If it is really bad you could try a little fruit. I find eating a banana or a small handful of blueberries really helps.

To the OP, if doing the colonoscopy prep made you feel better, it is possible that you have an undiagnosed food allergy/intollerance. I felt way better after doing my prep, and I have since discovered and allergy to milk and intollerance/allergy to tomatoes. Which I have been eating all my life. It may be something you…

I have been using MeetUp.com. It's not a dating site, but a group get together site. People with common interests going out and doing stuff.

I thought it was ok. My 13 yo loved it. 12 Monkeys was definitely better. So was Inception.

Yes. If you eat more fiber than your body is used to, you will feel gassy, bloated, crampy and have loose bowels (or constipation depending on how your body reacts). If you want to increase your fiber, you should do it slowly to allow your body to adjust.

Hot dogs. They're evil.

Clean, watch TV and knit, cook. I don't get a lot of those "It's too quiet" moments in my house though. Usually only when all the kids are somewhere else and then I enjoy them.

I haven't read through this yet, but is it possible you aren't eating enough? Some people here say they plateaued, then started losing again when they upped their calories. Especially since you are working out so much. I hit a plateau myself eating at 1300 calories, and started losing weight again when I upped it to 1700…

I have been reading a book called "Eating For IBS". It talks a lot about information that I've found a couple other places. There is also a website HelpForIBS.com that is connected with the book. It has helped me quite a lot. *Edited to say, the website is a sales site for a supplement, but there is a lot of good…

That was Avatar.

I agree, "Stranger Than Fiction" is the only Wil Ferrel movie worth seeing.

Mars Attacks. I won't even let it into my house. Gave me nightmares for weeks. It's just so creepy.

How did they do a test for intolerance? I have an intolerance and I'm pretty sure what it is to, but I've never been tested.

This happened to me too. I've been hoving at 13 lbs lost.

I liked Twilight, but purely from a romance novel point of view. Meyers was very good at writing the characters of the story and the storyline (the events that took place) didn't suck either. Considering the first book was written in three months based on a dream, it's really not bad.

Diesels don't. They use the heat and pressure inside the cylinders to ignite the fuel.

Design and build a self-sustaining space station.

That's awesome. I wonder if that would work with my kids.
