  • When I hit those plateaus I would push as far past the last weeks time as I could. If I made it to the next weeks time, Yay. Otherwise I would be in an "intermediate" week where I was working up to the next week. So I might make it to 6 minutes the first interval and 6.5 min. the second, etc. The next run day I would make…
  • I am allergic to nightshades so I have been figuring out how to cook foods for awhile. The AIP stuff on the Paleo websites help a lot. I use Heinz Mayo, because it is the only one I have found without Paprika. I have found a couple of restaurants that don't make me sick because they know the food processes involved with…
  • "The Scorch Trials" (Maze Runner book 2), "Four to Score" (Stephanie Plum #4) by Janet Evanovich. Not Sci-Fi or Fantasy, but really funny. Also reading Book 2 of the Mage Wind series by Mercedes Lackey. I have been in the middle of the Wheel of Time series for ages, just haven't gotten back to it. And I have started "Game…
  • Your profile says that you just quit smoking, which could be a factor. It may take a while for your body to get used to the change. Have you stopped taking the weight-loss pills? It might be helpful to log the food for a week or two to see how many calories you are averaging for the week (be sure to include exercise). Then…
  • I may be a gamer geek, but I have never played WoW.
  • Yeah, I stumbled across them because I like low-budget B-movies and also musicals, so Indian movies are kinda perfect for me. Netflix kept suggesting them. Most of them are Rom-coms, but the couple I listed are pretty good. There were a couple I watched that were really awful (trying way to hard), but I didn't list those.…
  • India is trying to get into sci-fi. If you can handle some of the cheesieness try: Ra.One (fantastic sound track) Joker Krrish (Krrish 3 comes out in November)
  • I really want to go, I just don't think I can afford the hotel room. I haven't been since 1996.
  • "The Thrilling Adventure Hour" - best ever. I also listen to the Nerdist (Chris Hardwick), Geeks Guide to the Galaxy, Naked Scientists, Knit One Geek Two, and several specific subject ones (Gardening, car care, yoga, carpentry)
  • I was a little upset that they didn't go back to the original timeline, but I liked most of the changes that they made to the characters so I got over it. I really like that Lupo became head of GD security so that she wasn't stuck working for Jack all the time. Otherwise they probably would have had to promote her off of…
  • I love Eureka too. I think it got cancelled because it was on the SyFy channel and they seem to only want to show Ghost hunters and Wrestling now. It used to be a good station. Anyway, Zane has moved on to the American version of Primeval so at least there is that to look forward to.
  • I had to deal with that from my mom's boyfriend once. He told me that since he didn't have any grandkids of his own, he was going to spoil my kids and feed them cake everyday. Since his daughter watched my kids at night when I worked he had to deal with all the fallout from the sugar highs. That didn't last terribly long.
  • Hi, I'm new. Been doing Stage 1 for two weeks now. About the push-ups. Before I started working out I couldn't do any regular push-ups. I started doing some on an incline, but I wasn't serious about keeping up with it. When I got to the point I could do two regular ones I started adding one more push-up every day. It…

  • My daughter got depressed and lost about 20 lbs in 4 weeks (and she was already small). She ended up needing to see a physical therapist, cardiologist, nutritionist, ENT, and psychiatrist. She couldn't stand for longer than 5 minutes a day because of vertigo and nausea. Not something anyone would want to do to themselves…
  • 11 years and counting.
  • You mentioned in your first post that you like some foods as long as they were in meals that are highly seasoned. You might try looking into some ethnic cook books (Indian, Chinese, Mexican, etc.) and see if that helps. There is a way to train your taste buds to accept foods you don't like, but you should definitely see a…
  • I don't know anything about Chalean Extreme. But I am using NROL4W and I find it very easy to do (just five exercises each workout) and I am definitely feeling the ache. There is a little bit of a experimental phase for figuring out the correct weight for each exercise, but it doesn't take long.
  • I was annoyed when they kept smashing into buildings because don't you think after trying that for five minutes and it not working you would try something else? Kryptonians are supposed to be pretty smart. I was also really annoyed by the "Shaky Camera" effect. There was really no need for it most of the time and it gave…
  • This!! I went out and bought new jeans because mine were all falling off. My 13 year old daughter stole them all. Now I have to go hunt through her closet everytime I do the laundry.
  • It's a different type of motion. When I was 20 I walked a 5 mph pace for 4 miles every day. When I started basic training, I couldn't run two miles. But my body caught up with the different type of exercise after a couple of weeks and I could run forever. Your body adapts to the exercise and makes it easier to do if you do…
  • I worked for Disney World for a month and it was the login name for their system that they gave me.
  • OP: I was hungry a lot the first two weeks. My mom said she went through the same thing when she became a vegetarian. We figure it is just your body adjusting to the change in food. Also, I lost 5 pounds the first two weeks, but I think that was from all the grain, legumes, etc. passing out of my system. In general, meat…
  • I don't like fish in general either. But I do love haddock and cod. It doesn't taste fishy. I tend to stay with the white fishes and get my omega-3s elsewhere. BTW- I eat canned tuna also. I really dislike fresh tuna, too much like salmon. You could try NomNomPaleo. There are a lot of non-fish recipes there.
  • I make potato salad with it. I'm addicted to it right now. 1 can chicken 1 baked potato (peeled and partially mashed) 1 avocado mayo to taste Works without the avocado too, and very easy for me to make at my office, since I make the potato in the microwave.
  • Exercise and calorie counting. She said she specifically wanted to show that she could do it without pills or surgery.

  • I had a pair of twin siamese colored tabby cats named Codo and Podo for a while. Also, I forgot to add Earth Girls are Easy. (First movie I ever saw in a theater.)
  • Ice Pirates Beastmaster Dune V (the original mini-series)
  • I just can't bring myself to make my own mayo, so I buy it. But I have a problem with nightshades, so I use Heinz. It has been good so far.
