If you are using the insanity nutrition guide it clearly states that since you are doing insanity it is accounted into the activity level which should not be less then moderately active I believe. So do not eat your calories back but that 2000 is accurate for the program. Either go with TDEE or the insanity guide they will…

I had this same problem the in past, several months at the end of last year to be exact, which lead to me maybe doing 2-3 days a week of exercise and falling off track with programs just crushing my motivation. My husband would want to do it right up until it was go time then he'd ask if we could just make it our rest day…

What the world is really like eh. I am 27, when I was 8 there was a lady who ran a daycare on our street. Everyone thought they were saints, they went to church several times a week, they organized community things, etc. Few years later, see a ton of cop cars around the house and her two teenage boys being taken out in…

Why is it any less appropriate for that father to not just head home with his daughter and err on the side of caution and take his shower when he returns home? I have talks with my children about strangers, dangers in public, and all of that jazz. Also FYI we live overseas we don't even have cable so no the "teevee" isn't…

Here's my problem with it. You are desensitizing that child to seeing things of a private nature regarding random strangers. So what, the kid is then say 5 and the perv down the road wants to show her his junk, but hey she thinks it's okay because she's seen plenty of men's private parts before because she goes in the…

Challenge Accepted... going to start now......

I would suggest having a stress test done since you say it happens when you exercise. They make you walk on a treadmill basically just adjusting the difficulty through incline and monitor your heart rate during and for a little while after. Takes maybe 10-20 minutes on the treadmill though. .

I wear my HRM and am on day 4 the previous 3 workouts calorie burns were day 1 -279, day 2- 275, day 3- 323. Everyone will get a different burn based on how hard the workouts are for them, how hard they push themselves, whether they are doing the modified moves, as well as what kind of shape they are in.

So sorry for the lack of text breaks, trying to rush out a post while dealing with two kids....

Sean T explains it in a podcast but he basically says, laugh, the tightness you feel during laughter is the contraction of your abs this is what you need to be replicating as you work out. Clench the stomach/ab muscles and hold while focusing on your form over your speed. dunno if this will let me link it but here we go…

Take something for the inflamation, make sure you are drinking a recovery drink of some sort, and pace yourself. Not saying dog it but pace yourself, the soreness lasts the first week then fades. I honestly find that when I am sore it feels better about 5-10 minutes into the next workout once my muscles start warming up…

Well it's a couple of things.... When you are out of shape in any program you modify to make it still a workout but wher you will not hurt yourself. I have seen plenty of those who classify as morbidly obese succeed with insanity, go through the beachbody forums and have a look for yourself. If you go that route the rule…

Chicken Pot Pie Soup- Per Serving: cal 291 carbs 33 fat 7 protein 24 Chicken Vegetable Chowder- cal 229 carbs 18 fat 8 protein 19 Both are delicious and have different tastes. I have been on a soup kick since I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed

Everyone is different and many times those machines are in need of calibrations. However I find that on exercise equipment if I am even slightly doing over a casual stroll pace I am getting into the 160+ zones. I don't feel uncomfortable and to me it seems right where I should be, slightly difficult to hold a conversation.…

I have seen people get great results with Power 90. I tried the program and got about 40 days in before I rolled my ankle very badly hoping my short 5'2'' self down from the roof of my Toyota Surf. needless to say I was out after that for a good 5 months before I could really do anything impact oriented (jumping etc). I…

Count the fruit. And instead of putting 1/2 a pineapple I would measure what you put in there with measuring cups/ scale weight so it is more accurate. Fruits grow in all different sizes so your half could be over or under estimated as well as not account for how YOU cut your pineapple. Same with your orange and other…

The gofitwear/bodybugg is an activity/calorie monitor. It logs your calories the entire time you wear it and can be worn all day/night but uses various methods besides heart rate to achieve this information. It also logs things like steps in a day, what times of the day you worked harder on a bar scale, what your average…

Good for you for starting it! You will be super sore the first week or so. I know I was! I have about 50 lbs to lose so I am no where in shape. I find I get about 100 calories for every 10 mins of the program some days even higher when I can really push myself. Best I think I have gotten was a 700 burn on pure cardio. Just…

I would like to double check your insanity calorie stuff as that sounds extremely low for the program demands. What is your age, weight, and height? activity level? wanting to lose weight or maintain?
-
Umm i am doing insanity just started and they have the calorie calculator for it. I have seen plenty of people on the forums for it not get results because they overcut calories. I am 5'2'' female and weigh 175. My recommended calories with a 500 cal deficit included is 2100. I just ran your info through the calculator and…

I love the under armor website, I hit the sales section and use discount codes which you can easily find online. Really great quality workout gear and the price winds up very reasonable.
