  • Hi there, I'm new to it too. I've heard about it but not done any research until today. The DVD's are available on Youtube for FREE!!!! I just watched (not the idea I know but I needed to see it first!) the first one and its great. I'm going to start next week. Check out Youtube before you spend cash on buying the DVD. Let…
  • I don't like it either! BORING!!!!!! But its just my opinion.
  • Merry Meet gentlefolk, I'm Jo, often Mojo and more often Breckin which is my magickal name and it means "freckled one" which I am too! I'm from the UK, just outside London. I've been a practicing pagan for more than 20 years but I've only really come out of the broom cupboard in the last two years. I have practised…
  • Just want to say "thanks" to all you lovely people for sharing your info. As a Brit I'd never heard of the 30-day Shred until I got back into MFP last month. I'm going to the gym but also just watched the whole of the Level 1 workout on Youtube so thanks again for the heads up on that. This is definately somethign I can…
  • Real red-head here just checking in for the shout!
  • Ditto, so much useful info here. Thanks very much to all you knowledgeable people for sharing resources and info. I'm always amazed at the support here!
  • No. I'm tattoo free. I do frequently find myself admiring the tattoo work on nicely muscled arms and backs of men though. I blame David Beckham for that!
  • Ditto the response above. Also are you drinking enough water? You need to drink so that your body can flush out the broken down fat. It sounds disgusting and it is! Also I'd ask are you eating big meals or snacking? You might need to shake up your metabolism by changing when and how often you eat. Just a few suggestion as…
  • I'm in "sowf east" London.....and don't really speak like that!
  • If it makes you feel any better I quite regularly balls it up and go over! Try not to miss dinner though.Just have something healthy. Also, sometimes going way over gives your metabolism a nudge and actually does you a favour. Tomorrow is always another day ; )
  • bump for later!
  • Excellent effort so far! Keep up the good work and keep motivating people like me who are constantly tempted to eat chocolate! Have a great weekend : )
  • Cardio is hugely important to your overall health & wellbeing (obviously!). Your heart is a muscle so why wouldn't you want to work it out? You won't be able to sustain indefinate weight training if you don't look after your heart. : )
  • Wow on so many fronts. It's hard enough just trying to lose weight without the other stuff. It just goes to show what an amazingly strong person you really are. You are beautiful on the outside and inside and there's no doubt that happier times are waiting to greet you with open arms. Good luck with the remaining weight…
  • I love your post! I hope you are doing well on your journey. I've only just started here and I'm very much of the mind that only healthy eating and active lifestyle are the way to go so to see your post was lovely. Best wishes, Jo.
  • It's not cheap product is it but it probably will support your weight loss with the exercise.......other than that I say just keep doing what you're doing. My weight loss is quite slow and I doubt I would hit 12lb in 8 weeks but it's a challenge! good luck. Keep me posted and let me know what you think of Sculptress if you…
  • Hi, Yes I have used it but not as part of a 28 day weightloss. I used it to support my nutritional requirements whilst following WeightWatchers and doing quite a lot of exercise. In my opinion, its a good product but it's not a quick fix. Generally speaking Maximuscle products are good/better. There are quite a lot of…
  • Bump for later! Looks very interesting. Thanks for the post
  • Hi & welcome, I also lost a baby at 11 weeks so I know how youfeel, I had also gained weightin that short time. If it's any help, I fell pregnant 6 months later (I wasn't in too much hurry so didn't really try any earlier) anyway, that was 7 years ago and I have a wonderful little boy who keeps me very busy. Good luck with…

  • Hi there! I am also in the UK........I'm in Kent, where today it was sunny but as the day progresses its becoming overcast and cloudy......just in time for my outdoor exercise. I hope you don't mind, I've sent you a freind request : ) I only joined MFP on Saturday altho I have in the past been a yo-yo dieter. SO far I've…

  • Yummy! thanks for sharing. I was just thinking about modifying a carrot cake recipe this weekend so now you've motivated me! If the Carrot cake is good i'll post ; )
  • Hi there, I'm new on here too, just signed up on Saturday! Like you i'm quite well educated in healthy lifestyle but I just fail puttingit into practice sometimes! I'm 44, 5'2 and need to lose at least 17lbs but more importantly for me I need to get exercising again (which I did yesterday - yay!). I like in Kent. i kind of…
  • Soya nuts (beans). REadily available in most supermarkets and health food shops, look in the nuts/wholefoods counter. Soya nuts are just soya beans roasted and are really tasty. No fiddly shells either just munch away! High in protein.
  • Yum! i share that addiction for iced coffee drinks so i'll be trying this too!
