I came up short by like 70 calories in last week's challenge, so I know it is totally possible. 425 calories burned today 2075 calories to go.

Close but no cigar....burned 2431 calories this week. (Maybe I'll go run around the house a few times  )

I also have worn my HRM and for my 60 minute class I burn between 500-550.

Forgot to post calories burned yesterday, combined with today I'm at 795. 1455 to go!!

Congrats jabmzmom! Keep it up. I am up 0.8lbs but not going to get too upset about it because it's that TOM. Normally, I gain 2-4lbs at this time so I'll take it. Next week I hope to report a nice loss.

Funny...I just added chili to "my recipes" literally 5 minutes ago. Guess it's a chili kind of day!!

I'm in! With the challenge at work I just signed up for (which starts 9/24), I have to be active 300 minutes/wk to meet my goal. That works out to about 43 min/day. Thanks for the extra push!!

Signed up for an "Active Challenge" at work. Starts Monday and we were to select the level of fitness minutes we thought would be the most challenging (100, 200, or 300). I went for the gusto and selected 300 minutes/wk. It lasts for 6 weeks and if I can hit my goal every week, I will be entered into a drawing for various…

I think you're doing great. That's at least 60 minutes of exercise. Nobody said you have to do it all at once. With kids you have to get exercise in where you can!

How about Pork chops with apples? Crockpot friendly!! http://southernfood.about.com/od/crockpotporkchops/r/bl58c6.htm

You look fabulous! I agree with other posters that you look much younger. Those pictures look like mother/daughter photos!!

Tons of great ideas. Definitely need to use my crock pot more often. Usually just do pot roast, pulled pork, and dips for parties.

I have "exercise ADD" so I can't commit to one single program like 30DS or Turbo Jam. I will be mixing it up with walking, running, Zumba, Turbo Jam, and other various activities.

So excited to join this challenge. I need some serious motivation to get this weight off. Hope to get 15 of the 25lbs I need to lose off.
-
Only 175 for me.
-
I would also agree that seems awfully high. I use a Mio HRM and when I do the 3 mile I burn approx. 330 calories, so very close to what crd314 is reporting. I don't burn 800 calories in an hour long Zumba class!!

After seeing your pictures, I am so motivated to get up and get moving. Thank you and you look fabulous!

pghsteelerfan - great job walking! 470 minutes is fantastic. I walked 328 minutes, so I hit my goal of getting over 300 minutes for the week. I'm pretty sure this week will be over 400 since I'm doing a Relay for Life on Friday evening. With all my walking and Zumba twice this past week I am down another 1.6lbs to 179.…

Turn off the AC. You'll be thirsty in no time! No joke. We don't have AC and it's been 85+ degrees for the past few weeks. I definitely drink more water when I'm home than while sitting in my air-conditioned office.

I stopped adding in the packets of Crystal Light when they moved the water/ice machine from our floor at work. I only use 2-3 packets/wk so that's 20-30 calories/wk. I'm positive I burn at least that on my multiple trips up and down the stairs to the next floor with water & ice. I do try to be honest with everything else,…

212 minutes for me. If it wasn't so blasted hot outside (and we have no A/C), could have been higher. Did manage to lose 1.4lbs this week, even with not eating the best. Not in a cooking mood when it's 95 degrees in my apartment. This week is SUPPOSED to be a little cooler, so my goal is to be over 300 minutes for the…

Had an ice wine with brandy that a friends' sister brought from Toronto for her wedding. VERY good, but VERY expensive!! Something like $50 and the bottle is about half the size of a "normal" bottle of wine.

I'm Bridgette and am from Michigan too. Love Michigan wines, mostly the sweeter ones. Tabor Hil's Demi-Sec, St. Julian's Heron series (Red Heron is my boyfriend's fav), St. Julian's Traminette, and Leelanuaw Cellars Winter White to name a few. Just tried a Moscato that the gentleman at the wine store recommended from…

Got 60 minutes under my belt today, may go for another quick walk after dinner if it cools down a bit. Tomorrow will probably be a walk at lunch (thank goodness for treadmills in the fitness room in the A/C) and Zumba class after work. May have to do treadmill for a couple of days if we get the MUCH needed rain that is…
