Day 5 is in the books! I am feeling stronger but seemed to burn less calories than the last few days based on my HRM. Maybe it was because my daughter was in the way a few times. Not going to stress because I also walked over 3miles today. Here's to tomorrow!!

Day 4 is done! 10 minutes later I'm still sweating. Will probably do level 1 a couple more times before trying level 2. Other than the push-ups, I'm keeping up pretty well. Used 5lb weights for everything except the 2nd set of side lunges with arm raises.

LOVE THIS!!

I so hear you. My daughter will be 5 in less than 2 weeks. Not only does she talk my ear off, she's in the way. Really, do you HAVE to play Barbies in the middle of the living room floor at this very moment? No, I cannot read you a book right now. Luckily, I do have a 14 year-old as well so sometimes I'll ask him to keep…

I walk and plan on starting to swim on top of 30DS. In fact, tomorrow morning I have a March of Dimes walk. That will be 3 miles, I believe.

Very ticked off right now. Today I was supposed to go swim some laps. The place that I was going to go doesn't really have the room to do laps. If I go to the YMCA, I'll have to pay $10 for a day pass since I'm not a member. $10 to swim for an hr???

Down another 2 miles. 29 miles to go.

Just did a 40 min walk with boyfriend and will tackle Jillian while dinner is in the oven. Tomorrow I plan on swimming for 45-60 min. Just checked MFP for swimming a leisurely pace and the calorie burn they show is like 600 calories?? Haven't gone swimming since I got my HRM, so we'll see what the real burn is. MFP has…

I got 193 last night, so we're all in the same boat. I personally feel like the original poster, sure felt like it should have been much more than that with all the sweat coming off me.

WOW! That'll make ya sweat. I kept up pretty well throughout the workout. May move on to level 2 before the 10 days is up. I'm also walking quite a bit now the weather is becoming nicer. Doing a steps challenge at work. We have to complete 50,000 steps/wk for 6 wks. Luckily, they gave us a chart of exercises and what the…

Another 2 miles down. 31 miles to go. Is that even possible?

I'm 5'6" and regardless of my frame size (though I'd say large), I can't see myself below 150. A few years ago I got down to 162 and I think another 10lbs or so would do the trick.

Did my measurements this morning as well as weighed myself (not happy!). I will probably go for a walk if it stops raining. Nothing strenuous, I'm sure JM will have me in shape in no time.

Did 4 miles today. 33 miles to go.

Hi ladies, my name is Bridgette. I have "tried" to do this program a few times but stop for one reason or another. This time, I WILL finish. I've heard great things about this and seen some great results. I want to be a success story. I will be doing 30DS along with swimming a few times a week. My swimsuit is a bit tighter…

I have several of these DVDs. One is a 4 miler and it takes about 60 minutes, so I use "walking, 4mph, brisk pace". Same thing for my 3 miler, it would be the same pace since you do the 3 miles in 45 minutes.

Another 6 mile down. 37 miles to go.

This reminds me of when I came home after my very first Zumba class. My 4-year-old asked if I just took a shower because the back of my hair and neck were all wet.
-
I'm with you. Sometimes I need something to shake things up. I drink mostly plain water, but I get bored easily. There is a great flavor from Wal-Mart that reminds me for Tang back in the day.

Another 4 miles down, 43 to go!

I would love to join! My boyfriend and I were actually just talking about starting today. We've put it off this long, what's another 5 days?

It's things like this that will keep you motivated. Keep it up!!

Congrats Grandpa!! I applaud your wanting to to this for your "girls" and it is definitely a step to a better, healthier life by quitting smoking. Three years is a huge accomplishment, losing weight should be a "walk in the park". I am blessed that my grandfather is still around and has always lived nearby. He has…

I have broiled salmon many times. Just be sure to keep a close eye on it. Maybe 5-7 minutes. I found a recipe years ago where you spread dijon mustard over the filet and sprinkle with bread crumbs. YUMMY!!

I've used Advair for years and the only real side effect I've noticed is if I take it after 8pm, I probably won't sleep well. It tends to keep me up. My insurance just moved this to the non-preferred list, so it now costs $80!! I'm going to have to switch to Dulera or Qvar because I just can't afford that every month.

I do tend to have less energy at this time, but I still do something active. Taking a walk is far better than sitting on the couch eating a bag of Doritos.

I want the double chin gone!!! Can someone explain how I can have double chin but my collarbone shows beautifully?? The double chin makes even head shots look awful. First place people notice my weight loss is my face, but the double chin hangs (literally) in there.
-
Checking in: Another 2 miles down since Sunday, haven't been sleeping well so no energy. 47 miles to go.
-
Another 5 miles down since Thursday. 49 miles to go.

McDonalds Mocha Frappe and a cheeseburger. No whipped cream on the frappe, though. Not going to stress that much because a few days this week I was under goal for calories.
