  • I'm the other way around! At uni I get so lazy and have no time, whereas at home there's always something relatively healthy in the fridge!

  • I cook it just like white rice, with a bit more water and for around 30 - 40 minutes. When it's done I rinse it with boiling water to get rid of any starch.

  • MFP set me at 1200 calories a day if I want to lose 2lbs a week. If I want to lose 1lb a week it goes up to a whopping 1220 calories...so maybe it doesn't make a big difference after all!
