The fun part is when teenage boys jump in the pool and try to race each other for 1 length and this old fat guy (me) passes them at my 1 mile pace. They're out of breath after one lap and I just keep right on going ;-)

She's definitely selfish. Hopefully the lifeguards have caught on and won't be nice to her. I'm glad I haven't had to deal with somebody like this yet. At the pool I use they address speed differences by designating the lanes from slow to fast. The suggested rules on lap etiquette is that if you are regularly getting passed you should move a lane over towards the slower side. I want to do it by the end of the month. Right now I'm doing 60 laps 3 days a week (25yd pool). When I started last July, 10 laps was all I could do.
