I am five foot one and have a desk job. To maintain I only need 1500 calories. So I eat one meal a day of roughly 1000 calories and take a multi vitamin as well as a 15-30 min body weight workout a day. Short women NEED a lot less.

I eat tuna in oil and cottage cheese with pickles and onions for breakfast.... my coworkers call it alien food....

actually it all depends on what your body NEEDS. I am 5 foot 1 inch and should ideally weigh 105 pounds and that times 12 is 1260 calories to maintain.

Hi, my name is Julie. Would love to be able to chat with others in the 1200 calorie a day group. I have learned to ignore the warning at the bottom of my food diary that reads.... you are eating too few calories... but i know that unless i am eating that low and keeping my carbs very low i don't lose weight.
