Don't strive for perfection. We are human. Learn from it and remeber to focus on the long term goal. Little setbacks average out over the long haul. Don't beat yourself up over it. Learn, modify the behavior, and move forward.

Set your goal at a weight that you are comfortable with. Don't worry about what others are doing. This is your journey and you can change your goal as you drop the pounds. Be patient, log your foods daily, and gradually work exercise into the mix and you'll do great!

When I started I went to a local runners store. They can determine how your foot strikes the ground and recommend the right shoe. I'd been wearing Nikes for years. Great news. I started the same way by walking and then jogging the downhills. In three months I now jog 3 miles almost every day. Stick with what you are doing!!!
