Is it a digital scale? I would go with the lighter weight. It is possible for a scale to have several different reading depending on how you stand on it and what type of floor it's on. How are your calories? I average about 1/2 lb to 1 lb a week and I eat a good portion of my exercise calories. I would eat at least half of your exercise calories. MFP add them back for a reason and if your body doesn't get enough calories based on your activity level, you won't lose. Banking those calories won't necessarily reap more weight loss. I would suggest if you aren't hungry and you are losing weight then you are getting enough calories but if your calories are low and you aren't making any progress, your body might need more calories. I've always been told to fuel within 45 minutes post exercise with carbs and protein. Protein will help your muscles in recovery which will make you stronger for your next run. Even chocolate milk can do the trick.

I am not a doctor but I do cycle quite a bit. I have had the same thing happen a few times but normally it is because I have gripped my handle bars too tightly for too long.
