Definitely worth it! I teach spin and love it! Your places that hurt will toughen up after a few classes and you can always wear bike shorts or get a gel seat for the bike. Best advice is to go at your own pace until you get used to it. Every instructor has their own style so do what you are comfortable with and since it's…

The only way to get better at pushups is to do as many as you can and keep trying. I got better by doing as many regular as possible then dropping to my knees and going until failure. Good luck!

I'm running a half on Jan 29th and then a full Feb 19th.
-
Congrats! You look fantastic!

The first few miles and the last mile on longer runs.

Feel free to add me. I just ran the SA half and I'm training for a full in Feb.

I prefer to make my own protein shakes and normally I put in some frozen fruit which provides carbs.

Great one to remember...thanks!

I have always wanted to compete but struggle with the diet! Good luck!

It's a matter of preference and what works best for you. Like others said, get fitted by a professional and once you find a brand you like then stick with it. Good luck!

This is the first step. It's not about dieting but making a lifestyle change. We all have good and bad days but the support on MFP is great. Welcome!

Walking is good as long as you are getting your heart rate up in the cardio zone. I used to hate running too but finding other people to run with helped a lot and now I really enjoy not only the challenge but the social aspect.

Here's a few sites: runnersworld.com (they also have a free smart coach training plan) marathontraining.com http://www.jeffgalloway.com/ I've done 2 fulls and a dozen or so half marathons. Paris sounds like it would be an awesome run. My advise would be to train, fuel and have fun. Don't put too much pressure on yourself…

Besides changing your exercise, mix up your diet too. If you are staying at 1200 everyday and never eat back your exercise calories, that might be part of your problem. Keep your body guessing and good luck!

I mix mine with Almond milk and love it!

I have the FT4 with chest strap and love it! Very accurate and YES that is a great price!! Get it, you won't be disappointed.

If the marks are caused by rubbing, try body glide.

I haven't cruised but recently spent 5 days at an all inclusive resort! I did the same, weighed before and after and gained about 7 lbs. Don't panic, 5 lbs was water weight from alcohol and of course sodium. In the end I gained 2 lbs but I had fun and enjoyed vacation so I have no regrets. I know that I will have to work…

I've heard that before but never actually tried it since I'm a carb lover. I don't eat a lot of bread but I do eat lots of fruit. Do you restrict all carbs or just processed? How many do you limit per day and do you have enough energy?

I have a Garmin with HRM and love it. Yes, GPS with HRM is pricey but well worth the investment if you run or cycle. The Garmin 305 is a model that offers both and has some good deals online.

Take it from someone who has had almost every running injury you can think of...do a paced program like what others have posted. Since you have the right shoes, increase your mileage slowly and make sure to stretch after you run. Stretching is an area that many people skip but it's very important to take a few minutes…

Chest strap is most accurate. I have a Polar FT4 and love it.
