Wow, you have done great with weight loss and doing P90X! That is a great accomplishment. Maybe you need to change things up and do something different for a few weeks before you start round 2? Also having a workout partner helps if that is possible.

I agree! You can achieve your weight loss goals with a well balanced diet and it's something you can do for the rest of your life. People do loose weight on high protein diets but once they go back to eating normal, the weight comes back. Who really wants to eat like that all the time plus it's not good for your body.

If you haven't been running regularly, I would recommend a beginner running program. Having a solid base before you train for a 1/2 marathon will set you up for more success with less injury. Either that or you could use your marathon training program and walk/run your mileage. There are many people who do a combination or…

Mine is chocolate and ice cream, alone or together!

Don't give up weights. Try changing it up using dumbbells with low weights and higher reps. Also circuit training is great a few days so you can combine weights and cardio to challenge yourself.

I have an ice cream treat every night. I usually have the weight watchers cookies and cream or skinny cow. I think the whole point is moderation so you can still enjoy the things you like.

I have a Nike headband that goes over my ears and once it's too warm I can stuff it in my pouch on my hydration belt.

Are you getting in at least 1200 cals a day? Drinking plenty of water? It's hard to tell without seeing your diary. You had a big weight loss at first so don't give up.

Unless you've been overeating alot then you didn't really gain 7 lbs. It's probably water weight. Don't blame it on quitting smoking because that's one of the best things you can do for yourself. I quit several years ago and now I'm in the best shape of my life. Stick with it and give it a week or two and make sure to…

Welcome back, I'm a marathoner too!

If your gym offers classes, that's a great way to get variety and keep from getting bored.

Count me in!

If your fever is gone, then do a light workout. I wouldn't do too much especially since you are going on vacation and you want to be fully recovered for that!
-
Bump...thanks!

sounds yummy!
-
I'll have to give that one a try!

That is awesome! What a great present and it's great you will get to using it next week! Enjoy:)

Make sure you are eating enough calories. If you burn 400 from exercise and only eat 1200, it's actually 800 calories you've eaten. I see so many people who are exercising hard, not get the proper fuel for their bodies. I also recommend wearing a HRM to get the most accurate calories. Gym equipment is often not accurate…

Not everyone will be happy with your weight loss! It's sad that society has changed it's thinking on what a healthy weight is. In my previous job, there were a few people that hinted that I had a eating disorder which is totally absurd. I think some of it is jealousy but no matter what, you do what makes you feel good!

It looks like you are running 3 times per week, there are several training programs that follow that with cross training on the other days which you already do. I've done 2 fulls and 7 1/2s and I've trained hard for some and not so hard for others. I finished all of them but some with better times. Getting your long runs…

i would recommend wearing a HRM to get an accurate calorie count. I take the same class and was surprised once I got my HRM that I didn't burn as many calories as they said most people do.

I agree, don't get discouraged. Your weight fluctuates daily. I notice mine will go up if I have too much sodium the day before or if I don't drink enough water. Keep your chin up because you are doing great just by making the choice to get healthier!

I'm in, sending you a request.
-
It takes awhile to adjust but you are doing great!
-
I agree with the above, you need to eat more! I don't know how you have the energy to exercise with calorie intake so low. Once you start eating more, give yourself a few weeks to adjust and you should see better results. Good luck!

Your food diary isn't public. Water is one factor but maybe not the only.
