remember that "weight" is not the goal here, but health is!!! and i mean both emotionally and physically

i do the same thing, i think it is important to let go once in a while. you only live once and it is important not to tell yourself you "cant" have something then you want it that more. letting yourself slip once in a while wil enable you to continue your healthy living style for alonger period of time. you are doing great…

and drink some club soda, or a diet coke with a lime to keep your mouth busy especially when everyone else is eating and drinking too. say that you will drive so you dont drink too much...that susually works for me (i have been doing that a lot lately and it has really helped my eating/drinking habits) dont let yourself…

chew a peice of gum or a mint in between drinks....always helps to keep my mind off of eating too much then i can eat what i want when i go home after.
-
yea it sucks it is way too much effort to try to do anything....i did download a calorie database though and that is kind of helpful...

i am 5'8" and it says i need 1200, i have a pretty laid back job though and i work out a few times a week, so i sometimes add in those calories sometimes not. make sure you are getting enough protein and a few carbs to keep your energy up.

i learn something new everyday when i am counting calories and mainly i am getting much better at making good decisions about what i am eating....every calorie counts! it is good to know how many calories are in certains foods because then my opnion changes about them. it is important to think about what you eat.

doyou think all the weight will be gained when you start eating real food again? i personally like real food but i am curious...
-
i am only 24 so will this hurt my chances of having kids in about 6 years? also what are the side effects?
-
this is totally a huge issue! i do not understand why every function or gathering has to be about food. sometimes people can be so awkward and have to draw attention to the amount, or my choice of food. the woman at work says that "it is her personal goal to get me to eat a cookie or some chips" i know that she is not…

is ti still ok to eat fruit at night, before bed? or does it all just turn into sugar = weight gain?
-
make sure you give yourself something that you are craving....whether it be junk, or red meat or something that you really want to satisfy you. you know what i mean? also, eat dinner early and then go for a walk or something so whatever you eat will be burned off before you go to sleep.

try yoga for your back.....maybe you need to build up muscle to withstand the strain applied when doing cardio. and then the instructor will give you some stretches for it too! i have days when i feel tired and i did not even work out! i think that is just normal, make sure you are geeting enough protein before and after…

perrier is totally the way to go! (especially for hangovers haha) i cant get enough of the stuff it does not seem to be a bubbly as other brands of sparkiling water so it does nt make me bloated and feeling gross when i drink a lot of it.
-
eating too much of anything can be bad for you.... i think fruit should be the least of our worries.
-
i agree! i think people should be more concerned with the processed (junk food) sugars. having a bunch of fruit a day instead of a peice of cake is definitely not the way people get fat!
-
good point.....

totally my type.....whachu doin later?
-
what is NOT in a long island iced tea?!
-
i try to eat an early dinner (like 5 or 6) so that way i sleep better and do not feel nausious in the morning. usually got o a coffee shop at night and read for a bit...then i can get a short walk and some relaxation before bed.
-
all that matters is that you are on the right track for YOU...whether that means losing a million pounds, or just becoming aware of the decisions that you are making. i think we all deserve a pat on the back for at least thinking about our health and the alterntaives to processed food. p.s. this is totally the place to…

you are telling me! nuts are like my fave thing too even more than icecream or sweets...its a total bummer
-
i guessed that the amount of nuts i put on was about 3 ounces...thats about 300-400 cal and then the salad its self was about 50 cal...
-
yea they do not think i need to lose weight....thats the problem. and i feel like their lives revolve around food which drives me nuts because there are so many other things to do and stuff to talk about beyond "whats for dinner" you know?
-
i knwo that water fills you up so you are less hungry,. but it never satisfies me to the point when i dont want food anymore. thats the problem, and that is the reason i end up drinking soda and coffee, which both satisfy my need for something sweet or tasty. i end up getting dehydrated instead. how do i get myself to…
