I'm a ski patroller and ski about 21 hours per week - does that count? Because it's not actually 'playing' a sport. It's doing a sport that FEELS like playing! But, then again, I broke my shoulder the second day of the season, so this season I'm just feeling sorry for myself!

"She's got a 'diet' mindset, I think because of her generation." Ouch. 51 here, grasshopper. Now I gotta go find my walker... think I left it near my Depends...

That's me, totally. I hit my inhaler BEFORE I start excercising - right when I'm changing my clothes. It is perfectly safe, but I am not a doctor - please check with yours so you feel comfortable.

I, too, am a convert. Although I am a lifetime member of WW, because I am over my goal weight I would have to pay weekly. I needed something FREE. And, what a bonus - I found a FABULOUS supportive community and a tracking tool that was way easier and way more robust than the WW online tool. And guess what? MFP WORKS! Come…

Whatever your running speed was, lower it. I am a recent C25K graduate and my, ahem, 'running' speed was only 5mph. So I am still doing week 9, but I am increasing my speed by a whopping .1 mph PER WEEK and I have increased my incline to a whopping 1 degree  My goal is to successfully run my 5k at 6mph at a 1 degree…

I just completed day 1 yesterday! It's tough, but great. I'm also doing C25K and I think 30DS will be a good balance to it.

I am very fortunate in that my company has a BEAUTIFUL fitness center on site. Open 24/7, staffed with qualified trainers from 6AM-9PM. Great classes, great equipment. The company also has an onsite nurse, wellness programs, fun fitness contests - all kinds of stuff. So, on days when I am really cranky about my job... I DO…

I, too, have a sucky commute. About an hour each way during the summer months. Now that summer's over and more people are back on the road it's 1:15-1:30 each way (IF there are no accidents). Books on tape are my saviour.

Here at my office our toilets and sinks run automatically on motion sensors. I know I'm in trouble when I'm at home and I can't figure out why the toilet isn't flushing and the faucet isn't turning on.

:) I repeated week 4. On to week 5 tomorrow! GULP!
-
No shame in repeating weeks - I do it ALL the time! I do not advance onto the next week until I can easily complete the current week/day. I don't want to set myself up for failure.

I'm shackled to my desk (software development) and have a 1+ hour commute each way. So I am sitting on my a** ALL DAY LONG. - I do three sets of wall push ups while my computer is booting. - I put on my headset and pace around my office while on conference calls - I'm terribly fortunate that we have a fabulous gym + free…

People at work are finally starting to take notice of my weight loss. One I got the other day... 'Wow, you've lost weight! Are you ill?" Sigh.
