I've had a lot of stomach issues and had to be very careful about what I ate beforehand. I finally found the all-natural carb boom and it is the only thing I can eat during a long run. I've tried other things such as gu and it never ended well. Good luck!

I couldn't use gu without gi issues, so I ended up trying CarbBOOM which is has nothing artificial in it and love it.

I always log in fruit. I've read that you should have 25 grams of sugar a day and others say up to 100 grams. I track it so I know where I'm at. Personally, I try to limit the amount of added sugar I eat since it is in everything from ketchup to aspirin. Right now, I'm looking for a good greek yogurt without added sugar…
