  • ive took upon weighing every two weeks, for the simple fact of how stupidly anxious i get. im meant to be weighing tomorrow and i really dont want too because i know exactly how ill feel if the scales say the wrong thing and i have been doing the wrong thing for 2 weeks!
  • what are your levels? do you know?
  • Yes Tuesday weds and Thursday I can't do any exercise as I work full time then go straight to college till 9pm
  • you need to ask for your results, then see your levels, it could be your not on a high enough dose. the first symptom to go for me was the tiredness, the rest has yet to get better, we have to tweak our meds to get to the right levels
  • OH WOW! i need to up my levo ha ha
  • 5.96 when diagnosed.. about 3 weeks ago it was 2.96 - im still symptomatic, with hair loss, weight gain.. however im now hoping that exercise will help me,

  • As I said earlier I'm a member of weight loss resources a UK based calorie counting website. I carry a small set of scales in my handbag so I don't have to guess that is how pedantic I am with my logging. I pay £10 a month for a more thorough UK based database for my foods. I think I agree when people say 1600 is too much…
  • Could you please send me a link to buy some there's so many different ones out there?
  • Thank you so much.. she is willing to adjust my dose again on Monday. I need to ring her once she has the bloods. Yes I'll grab some selenium that's a good idea. I can't believe I was ignorant to believe this would be sorted as soon as I started taking the Meds lol
  • What I was hoping to gain. Was any others out there that have been where I have been and come out the other side better. Healthier and losing weight on levo. Thats all.
  • I did talk to her. She said it takes time for the pills to take effect that I'm still suffering from a slow thyroid. That o need patience. I know what I put in my mouth and I I have less calories now than I did a year ago when I was lighter! And I'm still gaining weight.
  • ok, thanks - yea i sometimes enter calories on both to compare - im trying to decide which is a better site for me thats all. that is very interesting because i ate something full of fat earlier ( unlike me) and funny enough didnt think about food until 2pm again not like me at all. i was surprised that my belly wasn't…

  • I've always been sedentary and never eaten exercise cals so it didn't effect me when I stopped exercising. I struggle for time now as I've started college I'm a mother of 2 and I work full time so as you can see I'm a bit busy. So maybe rosnz I need to up my dosage?
  • yes its strange.. its why i was tested for my thyroid in the first place, as ive already lost 5 stone ( well 4 now) i was doing everything right so i couldnt understand it. the bloods came back with a tsh of 5.8 and they stuck me on levothyroxine. since the pills ive gained a stone. this past year i was able to lose but…
  • i also have a tsh of 5.8... so its borderline, so perhaps im not hypo? i went to get my bloods checked for t3 and t4 this time. so il know in a few days, im on 50mg of levo each day. do you think i should ask for an increase?
