Well, I may be wrong in my thinking, but here is what I think. If you have a chicken breast that weighs 100 grams and after you cook it, the weight is only 85 grams, then I log it as 85 grams of chicken because that is actually what you are eating, not 100 grams. I have several of Walk Away The Pounds DVDs. I use them in the Winter when I cannot get out and walk outside. I think they are really good and I have had success with them. I also have a fitbit and 30 minutes doing a two mile DVD burned around 200 calories.

I still stay within my calorie range but I have also been paying more attention to my carbs and trying to eat less of them. My weight was not going down, but since I am doing lower carbs, I am losing weight again.

I am at 163 and my first goal is to lose down to 155. I am 5'5" tall and 66 years old. Yikes! My ultimate goal is to lose down to 140-145. The scale just doesn't want to go down lately!!

I have an old softball injury and do not have an ACL in my left knee, so I can't run or jump either. When I can't walk outside I either walk on my treadmill or do low impact aerobic DVD's.
